It's too soon to predict now. In current situation, yes there's lot of negativity on him and BJP. 

But two factors will play crucial role:

  1. Opposition parties' strategy 
  2. Yogi's collusion with CEC. 

Yogi as a person is twice adamant as Modi. So, we have to wait and see.
