Everything non TATA in those vehicles is good - engine, suspension, music systems etc etc but build quality (What TATA does on their own) is not upto the mark... Most important is service .. We should say PATHETIC. None of their service centres are equipped beyond INDICA kind of cars.. I heard Mahindra is doing great... One reason could be their limited models in the market... TATA is like a super market, Mahindra is like a Botique.. If you still prefer TATA, lets talk after you buy and get their service God bless... Actually Engine is what is drawback of Nexon which is TATAs, build quality why is it BAD? did you experience any electronic failures or structure issues? Service is bad for both Tata and Mahindra . It will be inconsistent, but getting better day by day. Mahindra also same thing. Back in 2019 I actually picked ecosport over Nexon for same reason fit and finish and AMT is bad U had harrier from 1st batch? Or latest model ? These days heard inconsistencies are reduced a lot. TATA - taxi car in my view, do not know much more than that. Mahindra - XUV700 or scorpio N thappa migatavi waste. Toyota - reliable, mileage is less, but good as a reliable car, best resale value, service is costly, smooth ride Honda - highly reliable, service is cheap, smooth ride but you feel road conditions. akhil ch Posted March 7 Share Posted March 7 bought a safari top end. 4 months. 15000 km done. many long drives. defects found 1) steering - hard 2) tpms update issue vachindi madhyalo. not major. just software update. 3) suspension - could have been better Plus 1) solid safety feel 2) mileage - highway 18. city 14 (depends on driver. na mundu vehicles anni kuda bagane untay because i maintain well. dzire 2012 purchased 2.5lkh done still giving 20km / liter in traffic. i20 2017 1.5lkh km done still giving 15km / liter in traffic) 3) ee car esukoni evadni aina kodithe dikku divanam lekunda potadu ani i am driving very very carefully with safari. chance of me running over is neutralized evadaina vachi nannu kodithe vadi daridram. 4) service - no issues . i give it to pratham malik tolichowki Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
