It is important because that decides how much of 60 TMC is usable after the flood season. Polavaram main dam - 53/54 Feet varaku vuntundi, 180/185 TMC water. I think we must fit some gates in middle of coffer dam also because Godavari delta ki kuda water supply cheyali ga. I mean some gates in down part so that even low water levels una sare we can just lift the gates and save godavari delta completely is possible using this. Godavari delta 14lakhs acres must be given 1st preference. If water levels are less then 35 meters we can't supply water to both left and right canals. Godavari delta needs 250tmc share undi per year so we need to take care of it 1st by keeping some gates in lower part so that we can send water to godavari delta. dowleswaram barrage storage capacity is just 3tmc we need to maintain for 100 days we can send 300tmc to canals and save godavari delta Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If we use coffer dam for 2-3 years 10,000-15000 crores food grains will increase in state ani stats cheparu.
