I agree that he is more north centric than south for now.. but atleast he put an end to some of the long standing issues like 370, triple talak, ayodya, improve Kashi infra which cannot be used for election campaigning going forward, and parties have to come up with new set of goals... If not Modi, parties would still be making it a political agenda in future too.. Infra is increasing w.r.t NH connectivity's, Jammu lo aite he did not just stop by revoking 370 but making some of the developments there that had not happened in long.. I too agree that he is publicity crazy like lakshdweep beach walk and skit as mentioned in this chat...kani there will be ppl who would like to explore those areas after seeing them that can improve tourism kada... how they take it fwd matters... like how govt made strategical plans to improve infra in lakshadweep to increase tourism... He focusses on BJP ruled states or where BJP has stake only because development is not their priority. Winning elections is their priority. Article 370, Triple talak etc are long standing objectives of RSS and BJP. Long way to go. They have got a majority and they did it. We also supported BJP in 2014 and even during Vajpayee regime. Infra has to improve in India. Is there any other option for India. Whoever comes to power has to focus on Infra. But this fellow prioritized bullet train in Gujarat. What about DFC in south india? What did south india get other than highways. And most of these highway contractors are their men. What does Lakshwadeep have to promote tourism. As of now there is no decent airport also. Lakshwadeep is too small compared to Andaman, which is huge. We could have developed tourism if govt had the will. 10 years is not a small time. He was too busy developing his home state? Adani owns 43.97% stake in the company and was listed in 2022. It owns brands like Fortune Oil and packaged grocery. Since this is a non-core business for the Adanis, they are looking to exit to concentrate on the core business of Infrastructure, green energy, power and renewables. As per some media reports, ITC is one of the contenders to take a stake in the business to expand their offerings. Since the company has been making losses in the last two quarters, it is also possible that a QIP can be done to give stake in tranches to institutional investments and PE players. As per media interactions, management of Adani wilmar has asked for 3m to make a decision (Feb-24 can be considered to be a tentative timeline).
