Guest Urban Legend Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Rain plays havoc with Secretariat works Heavy rain, boggy ground and resulting mess are playing havoc with the State government’s prestigious secretariat construction and pushkaram works, which are expected to be completed by June and July respectively. The State government’s self-imposed June 15 deadline for the completion of Secretariat work may have to be extended given the heavy rains which are hampering the major part of the work past couple of days, according to a government official based out of Mandadam village which borders the secretariat complex. On Saturday, 11 days ahead of the deadline, bare minimum staff has been deployed at the site according to workers. “The work has slowed down as the muddy ground is restricting the movement of work, vehicles and people here,” said a worker at the complex site in Velagapudi. The Heritage Parlour of Amaravati Secretariat Canteen, which is the common meeting point for over 3,000 workers and officials at the complex site, was also closed down due to flooding and wore a deserted look. Many of the workers are seen whiling away in and around their temporary asbestos living spaces (sheds) near the secretariat site. However, as of Friday, the government was confident of meeting the June 15 deadline within which the construction, wiring and furniture work of the complex are expected to be completed by Shapoorji Pallonji, L&T and a couple of players, who are yet to be identified to take up minor works. On the other side, the secretariat employees, who are expected to shift from Hyderabad to Amaravati by June 27 as per a government order, are not too sure of the completion of the work. This apart, the Krishna pushkaram ghat works on the banks of river Krishna near Vijayawada and surrounding places are also in the initial stages. The supervisors associated with the work are of the opinion that rainy days may cause substantial delay. “The 12-day Krishna pushkaram begins on August 12, but most of the ghat work is in the initial stages. The rainy days, which have already begun, are likely to delay the work,” said a supervisor at a pushkar ghat in Vijayawada. The State government is making elaborate arrangements, which include over 170 pushkar bathing ghats with a budget of Rs 27 crore. Over 5.4 crore people are estimated to be taking holy dip during pushkarams this year. sonykongara Posted June 15, 2016 Author Posted June 15, 2016 విద్యుత్ సామగ్రి వచ్చేసింది.. చకచకా లెవలింగ్ పనులు తాడికొండ:వెలగపూడిలోని తాత్కాలిక సచివాలయానికి ఉద్యోగులు తరలి వచ్చేందుకు సమయం దగ్గర పడడంతో భవన నిర్మాణ పనులు యుద్ధప్రాతిపదికన జరుగుతున్నాయి. ఈ నెల26నాటికి భవనాలు పూర్తి చేయాలని ఎల్అండ్టీ, షాపూర్జీ పల్లోంజి సంస్థలు కూలీలను పెంచి పనులు చేయిస్తున్నాయి. అన్ని బ్లాకుల్లో గదుల నిర్మాణాలు సాగుతు న్నాయి. షాపూర్జీ అండ్ పల్లోంజి సంస్థ చేపట్టిన మొదటి రెండు భవ నాల్లో ప్రస్తుతం గదుల నిర్మాణం, ఫ్లోరింగ్, విద్యుద్ధీకరణ పనులు జరుగుతున్నాయి. ఎల్అండ్టీ చేపట్టిన మూడు, నాలుగు, ఐదు బ్లాకుల్లో పనులు సగానికి పైగా పనులు పూర్తయ్యాయి. ఐదో బ్లాకులో పని అత్యంత వేగంగా సాగుతోంది. గదుల నిర్మాణ పూరైన భవనాలకు సిమెంట్ విండోస్ ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నారు. పై అంతస్తు నుంచి మెట్ల ల్యాండింగ్ పనులు సాగుతున్నాయి. సచివాలయానికి నిరంతర విద్యుత సరఫరా కోసం ప్రాంగణంలోనే పవర్ స్విచ్చింగ్ కేంద్రాన్ని నిర్మిస్తున్నారు. ఇందులో అమర్చాల్సిన సామాగ్రి కొంత సచివాలయానికి వచ్చేసింది. తాడికొండ, తాడేపల్లి నుంచి సచివాలయానికి విద్యుతలైను వేశారు. కొద్దిగా పని ఉంది. వారం రోజుల్లో విద్యుత సరఫరా ప్రారంభించనున్నట్లు సమాచారం. తాత్కాలిక సచివాలయానికి మంచినీటి పైపు లైను పనులు శరవేగంగా సాగుతున్నాయి. తుళ్లూరు ఎత్తిపోతల పథకం నుంచి సచివాలయానికి నేరుగా పైపులైను నిర్మాణం జరుగుతోంది. సచివాలయ ప్రాంగణంలో ఏడు లక్షల లక్షల లీటర్ల సామర్ధ్యంతో సంపు నిర్మాణాన్ని చేపట్టారు. పైపులైను ద్వారా సంపులోకి వచ్చే నీటిని మైక్రోఫిల్టర్ పాయింట్తో శుద్ధి చేసి, సచివాలయానికి సరఫరా చేయనున్నట్లు సంబంధిత అధికారి ఒకరు చెప్పారు. రోజుకు ఏడు లక్షల నీటిని సరఫరా చేస్తారని చెప్తున్నారు. తాత్కాలిక సచివాలయ ప్రాంగణాన్ని గ్రావెల్తో లెవల్ చేసే పని శరవేగంగా సాగుతోంది. మూడు అడుగుల ఎత్తుగా గ్రావెల్ పోసి యంత్రాలతో లెవలింగ్ చేస్తున్నారు. అలాగే అంతర రహదార్ల నిర్మాణం మరింత వేగంగా జరుగుతోంది. 35 అడుగుల వెడల్పున రెండు పెద్ద రోడ్లు, మూడు అడ్డరోడ్లు నిర్మిస్తున్నారు. మరి కొన్ని రోడ్లు వేయాలని సీఆర్డీఏ అధికారులు భావిస్తున్నారు. .
