River Linkages is Inevitable....This Year Till date 1600 TMCs flooded into bay of bengal which almost can stabilize the Aicut of Entire south India

Polavaram canal Ibrahimpatnam daggara krishna lo kaliparu. But polavaram nunchi start chesi till ibrahimpatnam every Village lo motors dwara villages lo lakes fill chestunnaru.

So it means every Village in that canal path will benefit along with end user.

This is the concept of river linkage. 

Urike annikiti rakkesukunte ela somethings have to be seen in larger picture.

What’s wrong. We are utilizing excess water throwing in to sea. This year already 1700 tmc  Godavari water wen to sea.

i don't have any hopes on modi wrt river linking. since 2014 many chai biscuit meetings happened on river linking but no use. chai biscuit meetings will continue for another 10 years. rahul gandhi may become pm in 2034. rahul is against river linking.

godavari - cauvery river linking project will not start. recently modi suggested cms to focus on river linking, water grid within states.

godavari penna river linking with 92,000 cusecs main canal and 300+ tmc storage at bollapalle reservoir is best solution for ending droughts in andhra pradesh. but it will not happen as ap government doesn't have financial resources to complete the project .unless ap stops all freebees schemes including pension this project will not start.

River linkages is inevitable........capex is the problem.....

Between Punjab and Haryana ...there were murders .due to river issues...it's all about politics...not only TN state between all states issues are due to politics..

irrespective of individual state interests, godavari - due to its landscape and catchment season, lot of water gets wasted every year.. even the states it is flowing through cannot use that water effectively due to demographic limitations.. its better to utilize it..

Rivers linking should have started 30-40 yrs back.. at least for southern area rivers.. as time progresses, it will be extremely difficult for land acquisition and construction cost.. after 10 yrs, its not possible unless some dictator comes and do it forcefully.
