Though Airport Authority of India (AAI) announced a direct flight service to Singapore from the first week of October, this is getting delayed because of the problems in the customs clearance. Gannavaram Airport, in the heart of Capital city Amaravati, is growing bigger every year and construction of domestic terminal has brought a new look. Union cabinet approved Vijayawada airport as International Airport in May 2017, but it did not witness a single international movement since then due to the slow pace of works. The AAI that decided to transform the old terminal into international terminal had given a facelift to it and installed new conveyor belts, immigration counters, security check, waiting for lounge and others by the second week of April 2018. Still the airport has been waiting for the maiden international service. The state government had proposed to run a chartered flight between Vijayawada and Singapore to facilitate delegates and international consultants coming to Amaravati. Meanwhile, Indigo airlines came forward to run service between Vijayawada- Singapore as the state government came forward to do viability gap funding. First international flight proposed to take off in October first week was again delayed with problems in customs clearance. “We are ready with everything and we have come up with top class infrastructure. The old terminal is redesigned to meet the international needs and many international airlines have conducted a preliminary study of passengers,” said Airport Director G. Madhusudana Rao. Indigo has come forward to run international service and this time the airport authorities are waiting for the customs clearance, he said. “We are corresponding with the higher officials of the customs department as they have to notify the area for customs clearance in the Airport. They are about to tie up with a partner bank to deposit customs duty which is delaying the process,” said Madhusudana Rao.

sonykongara Posted October 5, 2018 Author Posted October 5, 2018 (edited) విజయవాడ విమానాశ్రయానికి సొబగులు05-10-2018 09:32:13 విజయవాడ: రాజధాని ప్రాంతంలో విజయవాడ అంతర్జాతీయ విమానాశ్రయానికి అదనపు సొబగులు అద్దనున్నారు. ప్రధాన ద్వారం నుంచి రన్‌వే వరకు ఆధునికీకరించడానికి ఎయిర్‌పోర్టు అథారిటీ అధికారులు(ఏఏఐ) నిర్ణయించారు. విమానాశ్రయం బయట రూపురేఖలను పూర్తిగా మార్చివేసేందుకు రూ. 5 కోట్ల వ్యయ అంచనాతో మరికొద్ది రోజుల్లో టెండర్లు పిలవబోతున్నారు. నందనవనాన్ని తలపించేలా అత్యద్భుతమైన ల్యాండ్‌స్కేపింగ్‌, ఆర్కిటెక్చర్‌ కళాఖండాలు వంటివి విమానాశ్రయ ఆవరణలో కొలువుతీరనున్నాయి. జాతీయ రహదారి వైపు ప్రస్తుతం కనిపించే గ్రాండ్‌ ఎంట్రన్స్‌ను ప్రత్యేకంగా అలంకరించనున్నారు. గ్రాండ్‌ ఎంట్రన్స్‌ ప్రవేశంలోనే రెండు వరసల రోడ్లు రెండూ వై డైమన్షన్‌లో వెళతాయి. వీటిలో ఒకటి నేరుగా అంతర్జాతీయ టెర్మినల్‌, మరొకటి నూతన ఇంటీరియం టెర్మినల్‌ బిల్డింగ్‌కు వెళతాయి. దాదాపు 500 మీటర్ల పొడవున ఉండే ఈ రోడ్ల వెంట అనేక రంగుల పూల చెట్లు, అలంకరణ మొక ్కలు, అందాన్నిచ్చే భారీ చెట్లు, లాన్‌, విచిత్ర అనుభూతులను కల్పించేలా తీగ అల్లికలు వంటివి ఏర్పాటు చేస్తారు. డివైడర్‌ మధ్య కూడా ఇలాగే చేస్తారు. కొత్త ఇంటీరియం టెర్మినల్‌ బిల్డింగ్‌ ముందు ప్రత్యేక ఆర్కిటెక్చర్‌ డిజైన్లతో కూడిన కళాఖండాలను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తారు. దీని వెనుక భాగంలో కూడా ల్యాండ్‌ స్కేపింగ్‌ పనులు చేస్తారు. ఎయిర్‌పోర్టులో ఇటీవల అభివృద్ధి చేసిన అంతర్జాతీయ టెర్మినల్‌, నూతనంగా నిర్మించిన ఇంటీరియం టెర్మినల్‌ బిల్డింగ్‌ లోపల, బయట అలంకరించారు. sonykongara Posted October 6, 2018 Author Posted October 6, 2018 విజయవాడ నుంచి అంతర్జాతీయ విమాన సర్వీసులకు కుదిరిన ముహూర్తం25న ఎగరనున్న తొలి విమానం?ఏపీ విమానాశ్రయాల అభివృద్ధి సంస్థ, ఇండిగో మధ్య కుదిరిన ఒప్పందంకస్టమ్స్ అనుమతి రాగానే టిక్కెట్ల విక్రయంనెరవేరనున్న రాష్ట్ర వాసుల కలఈనాడు - అమరావతి విజయవాడ విమానాశ్రయం నుంచి అంతర్జాతీయ సర్వీసులు ప్రారంభమవ్వడానికి ముహూర్తం ఖరారైంది. ఇందులో భాగంగా ఈ నెల 25న గన్నవరం నుంచి సింగపూర్‌కు అంతర్జాతీయ విమాన సర్వీసులను తొలుత నడపనున్నారు. ఈ మేరకు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ విమానాశ్రయాల అభివృద్ధి సంస్థ, ఇండిగో సంస్థ తేదీని ఖరారు చేస్తూ ఒప్పందం కుదుర్చుకున్నాయి. విమానాశ్రయం అధికారులకు సైతం సిద్ధంగా ఉండాలంటూ శుక్రవారం సమాచారం అందించారు. రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం చొరవతోగన్నవరం విమానాశ్రయానికి అంతర్జాతీయ హోదాను ఏడాదిన్నర కిందటే కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకటించింది. విమానాశ్రయంలో అవసరమైన ఏర్పాట్లు చేసుకోమని సూచించారు. సరిగ్గా నాలుగు నెలల్లో అంతర్జాతీయ ప్రయాణికుల రాకపోకలకు టెర్మినల్‌ భవనం, మూడంచెల భద్రత ఏర్పాట్లు, సౌకర్యాలను సిద్ధం చేశారు. కానీ.. ఇమ్మిగ్రేషన్‌, కస్టమ్స్‌ అనుమతుల విషయంలో తీవ్ర జాప్యం జరుగుతూ వచ్చింది. రాజధాని ప్రాంతానికి అంతర్జాతీయ సర్వీసులు అత్యవసరం కావడంతో రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం గత నాలుగైదు నెలలుగా చొరవ తీసుకుంది. ఏఏఐ, ఇండిగోతో.. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ విమానాశ్రయాల అభివృద్ధి సంస్థ చర్చలు జరిపింది. అందరూ అంగీకారం తెలపడంతో.. అక్టోబర్‌ మొదటి వారం నుంచే సింగపూర్‌కు సర్వీసులను నడపాలని భావించారు. కానీ.. కస్టమ్స్‌ సిబ్బంది జీతాలను ఎవరు చెల్లించాలనే నిబంధనల విషయంలో మళ్లీ జాప్యం జరిగింది. తాజాగా అది కూడా కొలిక్కి వచ్చింది. దీంతో కస్టమ్స్‌ విభాగం నుంచి ఒకటి రెండు రోజుల్లో అనుమతి రానుందని ఏపీ విమానాశ్రయాల అభివృద్ధి సంస్థ ముఖ్య కార్యనిర్వహణాధికారి వీరేంద్రసింగ్‌ తెలిపారు. అనుమతి వచ్చిన వెంటనే టిక్కెట్ల విక్రయాన్ని ఇండిగో సంస్థ ప్రారంభిస్తుంది. 25 నుంచి సింగపూర్‌కు మిమాన సర్వీసులను ప్రారింభిస్తుంది. 20 లక్షల మంది ప్రయాణికులున్నారువిజయవాడ నుంచి సింగపూర్‌కు విమాన సర్వీసులు ప్రారంభించాలని ఏపీ ఛాంబర్‌ ఆఫ్‌ కామర్స్‌ అండ్‌ ఇండస్ట్రియల్‌ ఫెడరేషన్‌ సహా వ్యాపార, వాణిజ్య సంఘాలు చాలా కాలంగా కోరుతున్నాయి. ఏటా కృష్ణా, గుంటూరు, ప్రకాశం, పశ్చిమ గోదావరి జిల్లాల నుంచి కనీసం 20లక్షల మందికి పైగానే విదేశాలకు వెళ్లి వచ్చే ప్రయాణికులు ఉంటున్నారని ఏపీ ఛాంబర్‌ ఆఫ్‌ కామర్స్‌ లెక్కలు కట్టి మరీ భారత విమానయాన సంస్థ, పౌర విమానయాన శాఖకు నివేదికలు సమర్పించింది. విజయవాడ నుంచి నేరుగా సింగపూర్‌కు చేరుకుంటే అక్కడి నుంచి ప్రపంచంలోని ఏ దేశానికైనా అత్యంత తేలికగా వెళ్లిపోయేందుకు విమాన అనుసంధానం ఉంటుంది. సింగపూర్‌కు మంగళ, గురువారాల్లో విమాన సర్వీసును తొలుత అందుబాటులోకి తేవాలని నిర్ణయించారు.
