Gaza ‘on the verge of collapse’

Youmna ElSayed, in Gaza:

Authorities had warned that at 2pm local time (11:00 GMT) electricity would be cut off because the power plant was running out of fuel. An hour later, the electricity was completely cut off.

Without electricity, hospitals will have to rely on their emergency generators, which, they tell us, will only last for two to four days.

This also means there will be no running water or working elevators in tower blocks. We will be in complete darkness tonight.

We won’t be able to charge our phones or watch TV to follow the news.

Gaza has been taken back centuries and into the medieval ages. Gaza is on the verge of collapse.

A Great Paradox or Hypocrisy or Deceit!

Have we ever seen a Leftist demanding multiparty system and democracy in China?Have we anytime seen an Islamist asking for democracy and rights for minorities ?  But both like those systems in other places so they can take advantage of, look around( West, A , I , Israel etc.)

On paper, both ideologies cannot coexist (just think about that); But in reality, each feed off from one another and play in tandem skillfully the unsuspecting & clueless democracies like a well-coordinated rhyming machine.

Good things happen when we confront facts without appeasement (luckily, we are private citizens not politicians); Peace to all people.

_________________________________________

(Democracy is magic sometimes, but the music of vote bank politics chimes in very often, if its patrons are not knowledgeable. Well, democracies can not complain, end of the day we deserve everything we elect, fair enough - karma(no place for victimhood - the most empowering concept because you take responsibility for your actions...)

(ex. I think Jagan is bad for Telugus, but Iam in minority, when atleast 50% people(normal public) dont think that way-last time(luckily with no effort 100% concur here in this forum regarding Jagan), if I can't inspire minimum of 50% what use it is for me to just complain (some where I am failing); victimhood is a weak concept unlike Karma(empowering). In corporate culture we talk individual responsibility and we hardly Q that(in life everything revolves around it), personally feel more at peace when accepting responsibility everything in life- rain or shine. Hoping min. 50% people will go against J this time around)

Peace through Strength

(tidbit:  Lot of people think this is a modern, new concept coined in A , but way before(23/24 hundred yrs ago) Kautilya operated on this principle - built greatest military(greeks didnt dare to return and smell success) and great economy to support that.  Do ask our kith and kin, how many read ArthShastra ! not many - as we give up reading except class books)

The Take: As Israel unifies, Gaza pays the price

The new Israeli unity government is a sign of how the Hamas offensive has brought together a fractured political scene. It put a stop to weekly antigovernment protests that threatened to topple a government among the most radical in its history, and for Israelis, it has prompted grief, outrage, and an unrestrained military response.
