అమరావతి, నవంబరు 9(ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి): ‘లండన్‌, న్యూయార్క్‌ వంటి నగరాల్లో అంతర్జాతీయ విమానాశ్రయాలు ఉన్నాయి. అమరావతిలోనూ ప్రపంచంలోని ప్రముఖ నగరాలకు వెళ్లేందుకు అనువైన అంతర్జాతీయ విమానాశ్రయాన్ని నిర్మించేందుకు తగిన కార్యాచరణ ప్రణాళిక సిద్ధం చేయండి. మంగళగిరికి సమీపంలో అనువైన భూమిని సమీకరించండి. రాజధాని నగర ఆర్థికాభివృద్ధికి ఈ అంతర్జాతీయ విమానాశ్రయం దోహదపడాలి’ అని సీఆర్‌డీఏ ఉన్నతాధికారులను సీఎం చంద్రబాబు ఆదేశించారు. రాజధాని అభివృద్ధి పనులపై ప్రతి బుధవారం ఆయన సంబంధిత అధికారులతో సమీక్షిస్తున్నారు. బుధవారం కూడా సమీక్ష జరిపారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా సీఆర్‌డీఏ ఉన్నతాధికారులు వివిధ అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలు, ప్రణాళికలను వివరించారు.అమరావతిలో అంతర్జాతీయ, జాతీయ స్థాయి విద్యా సంస్థలు ఏర్పాటయ్యేలా కృషి చేసినందుకు సీఆర్‌డీఏ అధికారులను సీఎం అభినందించారు. ఇప్పటికే.. ఆసక్తికలిగిన జాతీయ, అంతర్జాతీయ సంస్థలను ఆహ్వానిస్తూ ప్రకటన విడుదల చేయడంపై చంద్రబాబు సంతోషం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. వచ్చే వారంలోనే జాతీయ, అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయిలో ప్రఖ్యాతి గాంచిన హోటళ్లు, వైద్య సంస్థలతో సమావేశాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేయాలన్న అధికారుల నిర్ణయంపై సీఎం సంతృప్తి వ్యక్తం చేశారు. భారీ పెట్టుబడులు పెట్టేవారిని అమరావతికి తీసుకురావాలని సూచించారు. పర్వతారోహణ, వాటర్‌ స్పోర్ట్స్‌ వంటి సాహసోపేతమైన క్రీడలను అమలు చేసేందుకు అనువైనదిగా అమరావతి నగరం ఉందన్నారు. కమర్షియల్‌ కాంప్లెక్సులు, కార్యాలయాలు, మాల్స్‌, కన్వెన్షన్‌, డైనింగ్‌ కేంద్రాలను ఏర్పాటు చేసేందుకు ఆరు ప్రముఖ డెవలపర్లు ముందుకు వచ్చారని ఈ సందర్భంగా సీఆర్‌డీఏ అధికారులు వివరించారు. పదేళ్లలో అమరావతి జనాభా 5-6 లక్షలకు చేరుతుందన్నారు. పంచశీల్‌ రియాల్టీ సంస్థ 14.5 మిలియన్‌ చదరపు అడుగులలో దక్షిణాసియాలోనే పెద్ద అంతర్జాతీయ కన్వెన్షన్‌ సెంటర్‌ను పుణేలో నిర్మించిందని.. ఈ సంస్థ అమరావతిలో కన్వెన్షన్‌ సెంటర్‌ను నిర్మించేందుకు ఆసక్తి చూపుతోందని సీఆర్‌డీఏ అధికారులు వివరించారు.

One More International Airport Coming Up In AP

 

 

After Tirupati and Visakhapatnam another international airport is coming up in Andhra Pradesh. Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu chose Mangalagiri a right place to set up the airport which helps to promote the new capital Amaravathi as a destination for international trade and investments.

Naidu emphasized the development of the entire capital region including Guntur, Vijayawada, Tenali, Mangalgiri and Tadepalli must be taken up in tandem, to maintain equitable growth and development.

Major developments such as development of parks, greenery, roads and so on will be taken up across the region, and this will ensure the creation of sustainable, symbiotic and a vibrant economy.

Six leading developers have already evinced keen interest in setting up Commercial Offices, Malls, Convention Center and Dining complexes in Amaravati and agreed to participate in the RfP (Request for Proposal) stage which will take place in 30 days.
