pattiseema

Recommended Posts

thx . In previous post it was mentioned from 6th to 14th daily 11k cusecs is for 8 days it is 8tmc .am I right ?

no, daily 700 cusecs(two pumps) e pump chesindi. at some point only one pump was operational. couple of days back 3 and 4th pump start chesaru. now 7 pumps = 2450 cusecs. all the water lifted so far by pattiseema would be roughly around 1 TMC (as Dravidict brother mentioned above).

Correct chepalemu but some where around 6000-8000 cusecs

already polavaram canal middle lo unna villages farmers are trying to use water by motors it will be good it saves lot of people in middle for drinking, farming

no brother. question was not about flow rate. It was about how much water was pumped (saved) so far. It is straight forward math. only two variables. 1) how many pumps were running 2) how long each one. we know only two pumps were running most of the time. 700 cusecs for 9 days plus some extra pumping here and there (24 pumps for couple of hours at the beginning) and 3rd and 4th ones in the last two days. it can safely be approximated to be 1 TMC. If somebody asked how much water is on the way to reach prakasam barrage, variable you mentioned and percolation along the way comes in to picture.

mari we water ni nammukini crops vesina valla situation yemiti ? If we continue with 3to 4 pumps will this be sufficient for farmers ?

ledu brother already 7 pumps running. if the canal banks hold they will increase the pumps slowly. krishna delta east and west canals combined can take around 16000 cusecs. So even if all the pumps are running there is more than enough demand.

If we just  leave 8500 cusecs directly canal won't able to handle the flow there will be minor problems 1st year.

So 1st unna problems clear ayayi works.

Next 1by1 pumps increase chesthu veltaru so it takes some time for complete flow.

Main thing even polavaram completed also 4 to 5 years slow ga water levels in dam test chesaka ne full storage chestaru not 1 time

Yes it is late. But late is better than losing the whole crop season.

read post #189 regarding storage. 80 TMC is not lifted in one day. It is over 110 days. roughly equal to one crop season. storage won't be a big problem unless krishna gets flood at nagarjuna sagar during this time.

Every thing should go in order. we should have flood in Godavari for the next three months continuously. And also there should be timely rains in delta region to help crops.

Last year I have seen the situation no water from nagarjuna sagar. Ppl started crops with the rains.. had very good rains at least once in two weeks that helped a lot.finlay patiseema gave a finishing touch. Though the yield is not up to the mark.but not bad.

Let's see how this year goes on

Let hope for good flood in krishna

Or we should depend only on patiseema.

80tmc pump cheyyochu every year from pattiseema..

cheya vachu

1) Godavari lo flood undali.

2) can't pump excess water when there is plenty of water in Godavari due 2 storage capacity .. 80 TMC is actual plan of polavaram. Where the stored 80tmc water will be utilised 2 delta and seema

ledu brother, pulichintala lo storage cheyyatam kashtam. Needs a bigger lift than pattiseema for that. Pattiseema capacity is 8500 cusecs. Assuming 8500 cusecs arrives at prakasam barrage, there is 16000 cusecs capacity for out flow. so storage is not a problem. roughly speaking 15 days pattiseema full capacity to operate ayithe krishan delta lo oka thadi avutundi. Even if the pumps does not operate continuously, it still helps.

ABN odu enti rojuki..9000 cusecs pump chestunnaru antadu

No, pattiseema full capacity is 8500 cusecs. we are barely at 1/3 of it now. ABN mari chala tappulu print chestunnadu. 9000 cusecs krishna ni cherutunnayi ani vaadi abhiprayamemo. that is possible. more than 8500 cusecs can reach krishna provided there are other rivulets join on the way or water is blocked at one point and released in one shot. remember polavaram right canal capacity is 17500 cusecs (twice that of pattiseema but is not yet at it's peak capacity all through 173 km long, that is a different story)

This is wrong. 80 TMC is through pattiseema only. 0.73 TMC a day over 110 days = 80 TMC. Brother do you read any paper other than Sakshi? Polavaram ready ayithe 200+ TMC transfer cheyyochu krishna ki.
