Visitors were seen busy enjoying para motoring, rappelling, Burma bridge, bungee trampoline, and rock climbing. Team Freak-out from Bangalore provided lot of adventure activities. Two para motors were used to entertain guests, informed Vamshi of Freak-out, a Bangalore based adventure Sports Company. He said, “We go up to a maximum of 1500 metres height. Rides depend on wind conditions. Each of the para motors cost Rs 15 lakh. We don’t fly para motors, if wind condition is not favourable. We have recently introduced aero sports like para-sailing. zippline, rappelling, camping and para motoring will be introduced on a regular basis after this rainy season at Orvakal.” A couple from Hyderabad, Dr Narasimha Rao and his wife Dr Radhika who are on a trip to Orvakal Punnami full moon festival said that it has given them immense pleasure and described the tour as a most memorable experience. They also said that it is a different experience to be staying in tents. Shirley, Patrick and Pooja who came down from Bangalore shared their excitement with The Hans India and said, though adventure sports are common, but in the surroundings of historic rocks added all the more excitement to them. The other attractions include tethered hot air balloon ride, rock climbing, river crossing, indoor bungee trampoline, rappelling, zipline/flying, water walking, rope courses, rock trek, para motoring, mash machine and many more sports enthralled the visitors. Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishnamurthy who participated as a chief guest at the inaugural function of Punnami full moon festival at Orvakal Rock Garden on Friday night said that the rock gardens of Orvakal are unique and distinct. He also said that an airport is likely to come up at Orvakal very soon. He said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would lay foundation stone for the construction of airport on June 21. Tourism Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya said that she was given the Department of Tourism which is her favorite one. She said that she will strive to develop Andhra Pradesh as Tourism hub. sonykongara Posted June 11, 2017 Share Posted June 11, 2017 ఆలయాలకు పర్యాటక శోభ ఆధ్యాత్మిక పర్యాటకానికి ప్రణాళికలు విజయనగర, కళింగ కారిడార్‌లకు రూపకల్పన శైవక్షేత్రాలను కలపుతూ త్రిలింగ యాత్ర అమ్మవార్ల దేవస్థానాలకు అష్టశక్తి యాత్ర టెంపుల్‌ సర్క్యూట్ల ఏర్పాటుకు కసరత్తు అమరావతి, జూన్‌ 6(ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి): రాష్ట్రంలో తిరుపతి, శ్రీశైలం పుణ్యక్షేత్రాలతోపాటు ఏడు ప్రధాన ఆలయాలు ఉన్నాయి. ఇవి కాకుండా సుమారు 25 ప్రముఖ ఆలయాలున్నాయి. కానీ ఇతర రాష్ర్టాలు, అంతర్జాతీయ పర్యాటకులకు తిరుపతి, శ్రీశైలం మినహా మిగిలిన ఆలయాల గురించి తెలియదు. కానీ ఇకపై తిరుపతి, శ్రీశైలం ఆలయాలకు వచ్చే ఆధ్యాత్మిక పర్యాటకులకు ఇతర ఆలయాలను కూడా పరిచయం చేయాలని, వారిని వాటి దిశగా ఆకర్షితులను చేయాలని ఏపీ ప్రభుత్వం సంకల్పించింది. ఇందుకోసం దేవాదాయ శాఖ ప్రణాళికలు రూపొందించింది. ఒకే విధమైన ఆలయాలను కలుపుతూ కొన్ని సర్క్యూట్లు, సమీపంలోని ఆలయాలను కలుపుతూ మరికొన్ని సర్క్యూట్లు ఏర్పాటుచేసి పర్యాటకులు అన్ని ఆలయాలను సందర్శించేలా చర్యలు చేపడుతోంది. ఆధ్యాత్మిక పర్యాటకంపై దేవాదాయ శాఖ తీవ్ర కసరత్తు చేస్తోంది. శ్రీకృష్ణదేవరాయలు పాలనలో నిర్మించిన ఆలయాలను విజయనగర కారిడార్‌గా, రాష్ట్రంలోని ప్రముఖ శైవ ఆలయాలను కలిపుతూ త్రిలింగ యాత్రగా ప్రణాళిక రూపొందించారు. హంపి నుంచి తిరుపతి వరకు ఉన్న ముఖ్యమైన ఆలయాలను సందర్శించేలా విజయనగర కారిడార్‌ ఉంటుంది. అలాగే పూరి నుంచి సింహాచలం వరకు మధ్యలో ఉన్న ఆలయాలను కలుపుతూ కళింగ కారిడార్‌ను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. కళింగ రాజుల పాలనలో నిర్మించిన ఆలయాలు దీని పరిధిలో ఉంటాయి. ఈ కారిడార్లలోని ఆలయాలపై ఇతర రాష్ర్టాల్లో జరుగుతున్న పర్యాటక ఎగ్జిబిషన్లలో ప్రదర్శనలు ఏర్పాటు చేస్తున్నారు. శ్రీశైలం, ద్రాక్షారామం, శ్రీకాళహస్తి ఆలయాలను కలుపుతూ త్రిలింగ యాత్ర అనే ప్రణాళికను రూపొందించారు. ఈ యాత్రలో మూడు శక్తిపీఠాలు కూడా వస్తాయని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. అలాగే విజయవాడ, కర్నూలు, తిరుపతి నగరాలను కలిపేలా గోల్డెన్‌ ట్రయాంగిల్‌ను రూపొందించారు. ఈ యాత్రలన్నిటినీ పర్యాటక శాఖతో కలిసి దేవాదాయ శాఖ రూపొందిస్తోంది. ఇప్పటికే అనేకమంది టూర్‌ ఆపరేటర్లతో సమావేశాలు నిర్వహించారు. కొన్ని సర్క్యూట్ల కోసం ఆర్టీసీ, ఐఆర్‌సీటీలతోనూ చర్చింది. ఆధ్యాత్మిక పర్యాటకంలో భాగంగా మౌలిక సదుపాయాల కల్పనపైనా దృష్టిసారించారు. శ్రీశైలంలో హోటళ్ల నిర్మాణాలను దేవాదాయ శాఖ ప్రోత్సహిస్తోంది. ప్రముఖ ఆలయాల వద్ద హోటళ్లు నిర్మించే ఆసక్తి ఉన్నవారికి దేవాదాయ భూములు ఇవ్వాలని నిర్ణయించింది. అలాగే ఆలయాల వద్ద ఐస్‌క్రీం పార్లర్లు, కాఫీడే రెస్టారెంట్లు పెట్టించేందుకు చర్యలు తీసుకుంటోంది. అష్టశక్తి యాత్ర రాష్ట్రంలోని అన్ని అమ్మవార్ల ఆలయాలను వరుసగా దర్శించుకునేలా అష్టశక్తి యాత్ర ప్రణాళికను రూపొందించారు. విజయవాడ కనకదుర్గ అమ్మవారు. కొల్లేరులోని శ్రీపెద్దింట్లమ్మ అమ్మవారు, భీమవరంలోని మావుళ్ళమ్మ, పెద్దాపురంలోని మరిడమ్మ, తుని సమీపంలోని తలుపులమ్మ, అనకాపల్లిలోని నూకాంబిక, విశాఖపట్నంలోని కనకమహాలక్ష్మి, విజయనగరంలోని పైడితల్లి అమ్మవార్ల ఆలయాలను కలిపేలా ఈ యాత్ర ఉంటుంది. ఈ యాత్రపై దేవాదాయ శాఖ ఇప్పటికే ఆర్టీసీ, ఐఆర్‌సీటీసీలతో చర్చించింది.దీనికి ఎనిమిది రోజుల ప్యాకేజ్‌ రూపొందించారు. దశావతార యాత్ర శైవ, అమ్మవార్ల ఆలయాల తరహాలోనే వైష్ణవ ఆలయాలను కలిపేలా మరో సర్క్యూట్‌కు దేవాదాయ శాఖ రూపకల్పన చేస్తోంది. రాష్ట్రంలోని పది మహావిష్ణువు ఆలయాలను కలపడం దీని ఉద్దేశం. శ్రీకాకుళంలోని శ్రీమత్స్యలేశం, శ్రీకూర్మం, విశాఖలోని సింహాచలం, గుంటూరులోని మంగళగిరి పానకాలస్వామి ఆలయం, ప్రకాశంలోని చెరుకూరు ఆలయం, కడప జిల్లాలోని అత్తిరాల ఆలయం, ఒంటిమిట్ట రామాలయం, మైదుకూరు ఆలయం, నందలూరులోని ఆలయాలు దీని పరిధిలోకి వస్తాయి. ఉత్తరభారతంలోని చార్‌ధామ్‌ యాత్ర తరహాలో దీన్ని రూపొందిస్తున్నారు. What once used to be a small fishing colony is today a thriving zone of activities like water-sports and go-karting with several new fun sports like Segway, hoverboard, paintball, rifle-shooting, archery, golf and boarding introduced recently at HiFY Go Karting Arena. “This summer has been particularly good for us. And with the weather cooling down in the past 10 days, we have seen a 30% increase in footfalls to the Go Karting Arena,” its founder Pramod Kumar told The Hindu. Ever since the city’s first-ever dedicated kart racing circuit was thrown open to the public in 2014, it has been drawing visitors, some professional racers, to the arena and also hosted major events like the finals of the National Karting Championship in 2014 and Autocross events from the past two years. “This year we aim to bring back the National Karting Championship to the city. We are in talks with the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India and hope to host it in November this year,” Mr. Kumar said. The Go Karting Arena will also be hosting its annual Autocross event later this year. “Three finalists from Vizag of the Autocross event have also gone on to participate in car rallies held in New Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata,” he added. Combo offers, discounts With the rush of visitors picking up from the past two weekends, several combo offers and discounts are being offered at the HiFY Go Karting Arena where people can enjoy activities by paying from ₹100 to ₹400 for each sport. This apart, water sports activities have picked up in the backwaters of Mangamaripeta. Sadiq Mohammed of Ocean Wave Water Sports — the firm that conducts these waters sport activities — said Saturday saw a great turnout of visitors with the weather being ideal for kayaking. Recently, new water sport activities like jet skiing, banana rides and zorbing were introduced. Local visitors and tourists, however, feel a lot can be done to make the beaches more visitor-friendly. ‘Make beaches cleaner’ “This spot can be compared to the best beaches in the country. We rarely see such a natural beauty of backwaters, sea and hills in one place. But the beaches should be made cleaner. There are plastics strewn across the waters and the approach road is also not properly laid,” said Natasha of New Delhi, who was here on a short vacation. “We did some awareness campaigns sometime back to stop open defecation. While that problem has been solved, cleanliness and proper accessibility are areas that still need to be addressed. sonykongara Posted June 15, 2017 Share Posted June 15, 2017 పర్యాటక కేంద్రంగా ‘ఓర్వకల్లు’ మూడునెలలకోసారి ‘పున్నమి ఓర్వకల్లు ఫెస్టివల్‌’ 15రోజులకోసారి మినీఫెస్టివల్స్‌కు సన్నాహాలు అమరావతి, జూన్‌ 14 (ఆంధ్రజ్యోతి) : పర్యాటకాన్ని మరింతగా ప్రజల్లోకి తీసుకువెళ్లేందుకు పర్యాటక శాఖ సన్నాహాలు చేస్తోంది. ఇందుకోసం ప్రత్యేకంగా ఒక క్యాలండర్‌ కూడా రూపొందించాలని అధికారులు భావిస్తున్నారు. ఇటీవల కర్నూలు జిల్లాలో మూడురోజుల పాటు నిర్వహించిన ఓర్వకల్లు ఫెస్టివల్‌ విజయవంతం కావడంతో మరిన్ని ఫెస్టివల్స్‌ నిర్వహించేందుకు పర్యాటక శాఖ అధికారులు సిద్ధం అవుతున్నారు. కర్నూలు జిల్లాలో మూడు రోజుల పాటు పర్యాటక శాఖ ‘పున్నమి ఓర్వకల్లు ఫెస్టివల్‌’ను నిర్వహించింది. ఈ ఫెస్టివల్‌ విజయవంతం కావడంతో అధికారులు మరింత ముందుకుపోవాలని నిర్ణయించారు. మూడు నెలలకు ఒకసారి ‘పున్నమి ఓర్వకల్లు ఫెస్టివల్‌’, దీంతో పాటు ప్రతి 15 రోజులకు ఒకసారి మినీ ఫెస్టివల్‌ నిర్వహించేందుకు సన్నాహాలు చేస్తున్నారు. ప్రతి రెండు వారాలకు ఒకసారి ఏదో ఒక కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహిస్తూ ఓర్వకల్లును పర్యాటకానికి కేంద్రస్థానం చేయాలని అధికారులు లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకున్నారు. బెంగుళూరు, హైదరాబాద్‌ ప్రాంతాల్లో సాఫ్ట్‌వేర్‌ ఇంజనీర్లుతో పాటు ఇతర ఉద్యోగులు, ప్రజలు వారాంతం ఆహ్లాదం కోసం ఏదో ఒక ప్రాంతానికి వెళ్తుంటారు. ఇలాంటి సమయంలో వారికి కొత్త ప్రాంతాన్ని పరిచయం చేయడంతో పాటు కొత్త అనుభూతిని కల్పించాలంటే... రెండు నగరాలకు దగ్గరల్లో ఉన్న ఓర్వకల్లు సరైందని పర్యాటక శాఖ అధికారులు గుర్తించారు. ఓర్వకల్లులో వేల సంవత్సరాల నాటి రాతి కొండలు ఉన్నాయి. దీనికి తోడుగా సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలు, ప్రదర్శనలు, ఇతర కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించాలని, మూడునెలలకోసారి ఫెస్టివల్‌, 15రోజులకోసారి మినీఫెస్టివల్‌ నిర్వహించాలనేది అధికారుల యోచన. ఇందులో భాగంగానే ఓర్వకల్లుని మరింత అభివృద్ధి చేసేందుకు ప్రణాళికలు రచిస్తున్నారు. గత వారం నిర్వహించిన ఫెస్టివల్‌ కోసం తాత్కాలికంగా లగ్జరీ టెంట్‌లతో ఏసీ, నాన్‌ ఏసీ రూమ్‌లను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు. ఇకపై పర్యాటకుల కోసం శాశ్వత నిర్మాణాలు చేపట్టాలన్న యోచనలో అధికారులు ఉన్నారు. అలాగే ఫెస్టివల్స్‌లో స్థానికులు ఉచితంగా హాజరయ్యేందుకు అవకాశం కల్పించనున్నారు. sonykongara Posted June 16, 2017 Share Posted June 16, 2017 ఏపీ పర్యాటకానికి ప్రత్యేక లోగో 20న సీఎం ఆమోదంతో ఖరారు ఈనాడు, అమరావతి: ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌ పర్యాటక విభాగానికి ప్రత్యేక లోగో రానుంది. ఉమ్మడి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో రూపొందించిన లోగోనే ఇప్పటికీ రాష్ట్రంలో వినియోగిస్తున్నారు. రాష్ట్ర విభజన నేపథ్యంలో నవ్యాంధ్రను ప్రతిబింబించేలా నూతన లోగోను తీసుకురావాలని ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించింది. దీనికి సంబంధించి ప్రాపగండ సంస్థ రూపొందించిన 15 నమూనాలను గురువారం పర్యాటకశాఖ కార్యదర్శి ముకేష్‌కుమార్‌ మీనా, పర్యాటక ప్రాధికార సంస్థ ముఖ్య కార్యనిర్వహణాధికారి హిమాన్షుశుక్లా పరిశీలించారు. వాటిలోనుంచి 6 నమూనాలను ఎంపిక చేశారు. ఈ నెల 20న జరగనున్న రాష్ట్ర పర్యాటక, సాంస్కృతిక, వారసత్వ బోర్డు తొలి సమావేశంలో ఈ నమూనాలను ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబునాయుడు ముందుంచనున్నారు. వాటిలో సీఎం సూచనతో ఒక నమూనాను ఖరారు చేయనున్నారు. రాష్ట్రంలోని పర్యాటక ప్రాంతాలను ప్రతిబింబించేలా తీరప్రాంతం, బుద్ధ ప్రాజెక్టులు, శ్రీశైలం పులుల జోన్‌ వంటి వాటిని కలగలిపి ఈ లోగోలను సిద్ధం చేశారు.
