RamaSiddhu J Posted February 9, 2022 Share Posted February 9, 2022 ఆమె పేరు ముస్కాన్... అంటే చిరునవ్వు అని అర్దం ఎప్పుడూ చిరునవ్వుతో ఉండే ఆ అమ్మాయి ఇవ్వాళ్ళ తన రౌద్ర రూపం చూయించింది. తన హక్కులను హరిస్తే, తన ఆత్మ గౌరవం మీద దెబ్బకొడితే దేన్నైనా ఎదిరిస్తానని ముస్కాన్ తేల్చి చూపింది. కర్నాటకలోని మాండ్యా పట్టణంలో ప్రీ యూనివర్సిటీ కాలేజ్ లో బీకాం సెకండ్ యియర్ చదువుతున్న ముస్కాన్ ఎప్పటి లాగే బ్ర్కా ధరించి ఇవ్వాళ్ళ కాలేజీకి వచ్చింది. ముస్లిం మహిళలు బురఖాలు, హిజబ్ లు ధరించి కాలేజీలకు రావద్దని వారం రోజులుగా కాషాయ గ్యాంగ్ అరాచకం సృష్టిస్తున్న నేపథ్యంలో ఆమె కాలేజీకి వచ్చింది. అప్పటికే అక్కడ గుమిగూడిన మెడలో కాషాయ కండువాలు వేసుకున్న గ్యాంగ్ ఆమెను చూడగానే పెద్ద పెట్టున జై శ్రీరాం అని అరుస్తూ, ఆమె గురించి అసభ్యంగా మాట్లాడుతూ ఆమె వైపు దూసుకవచ్చారు. అయినా ఆమె ధైర్యంగా నిలబడి వాళ్ళను చూస్తూ అల్లహూ అక్బర్ అని నినాదాలు చేసింది. నేను బుర్ఖా ధరిస్తే మీ కేంటి ఇబ్బంది అని ప్రశ్నించింది. ఆమె వైపు దూసుక వచ్చిన కాషాయ మూక నుండి అధికారులు ఆమెను రక్షించి అక్కడి నుండి తీసుకెళ్ళారు. ఆమె చూపించిన ఆ సాహసాన్ని దేశం ఆనందాశ్చర్యాలతో చూసింది. మరి ఆపని ముస్కాన్ ఆవేశంలో చేసిందా ? తాను చేసిన పని వల్ల తనకేమైనా జరుగుతుందని ఇప్పుడు ఆమె భయపడుతోందా ? లేదు తాను చేసిన పనికి తానేమీ చింతించడం లేదు. తాను చేసినపని సరైనదే అని ఆమె బలంగా నమ్ముతోంది. ఇక పైన కూడా తన హక్కు కోసం తాను పోరాడుతానని చెబుతోంది ముస్కాన్. ముస్కాన్ NDTVతో మాట్లాడారు. "నేను కాలేజీలోకి ప్రవేశించినప్పుడు బురఖా ధరించి ఉన్నందున వారు నన్ను అనుమతించలేదు అయినా నేను ఆందోళన చెందలేదు. " అని ఆమె NDTV కి చెప్పారు. "వారు జై శ్రీరామ్ అని అరవడం ప్రారంభించారు. అందుకే నేను అల్లా హు అక్బర్ అని అరవడం మొదలుపెట్టాను. ప్రిన్సిపాల్ మరియు లెక్చరర్లు నాకు మద్దతుగా నిలిచారు." ఆ గుంపులోని 10 శాతం మంది మాత్రమే ఈ కాలేజీ విద్యార్థులు మిగతా వాళ్ళంతా బైటివాళ్ళే అని ఆమె అన్నారు. "మాకు చదువు చాలా ముఖ్యమైనది కానీ వాళ్ళు చదువును పాడు చేస్తున్నారుʹʹ " మేము ఎప్పుడూ బురఖా, హిజాబ్ ధరించేవాళ్ళం. నేను క్లాస్‌లో ఎప్పుడూ బురఖా తొలగించి హిజాబ్ ధరించే ఉంటాను. గత వారం నుండే ఈ గొడవ ప్రారంభమైంది.ʹʹఅని ముస్కాన్ చెప్పారు. "హిజాబ్ మా సాంప్రదాయంలో భాగం. ప్రిన్సిపాల్ ఎప్పుడూ హిజబ్ ధరించవద్దని అనలేదు. బయటి వ్యక్తులు దీన్ని ప్రారంభించారు. బురఖా ధరించవద్దని ప్రిన్సిపాల్ ఇప్పుడు మాకు సలహా ఇచ్చారు. హిజాబ్ కోసం మేము మా నిరసన కొనసాగిస్తాము. ముస్లిం యువతిగా ఇది మా జీవితంలో భాగం ..." కాలేజీలోని తన హిందూ స్నేహితులంతా తనకు మద్దతుగా నిలిచారని ముస్కాన్ చెప్పారు. ʹʹనేను క్షేమంగా ఉన్నాను.. అందరూ నాకు మద్దతుగా నిల్చారు. నా వెంటే తాము ఉన్నామని, ఉంటామని అందరూ చెబుతున్నారు.ʹʹ అని ముస్కాన్ ఈ ఫాసిస్టు కాలాన్ని ముస్కాన్ చిరునవ్వుతో ఎదుర్కోవాలని కోరుకుందాం. The urgent issue here is, however, to address immediately the wicked and evil transformation of the field of education into a battle ground between two sets of religious fundamentalists: one orthodox, the other agitationist, provocative and divisive.
