Good job in highlighting a key problem. This is what a responsible opposition should do. Jagan won't. Glad PK is taking up that role. Government should take necessary steps in facilitating treatment to them under health schemes. Also, in-depth study should be conducted to find out the root cause of the issue. TGR Posted January 3, 2017 Share Posted January 3, 2017 ఉద్దానం ప్రాంత కిడ్నీ వ్యాధుల గురించి ఇప్పటి దాకా జరిగిన ప్రయత్నాల పై ఒక చిన్న నివేదిక...!! ఉద్దానం కిడ్నీ వ్యాథుల సమస్య (క్రానిక్ కిడ్నీ డిసీజెస్) ఈనాటిది కాదు. దశాబ్ధాలుగా వైద్యశాస్త్రానికే కొరుకుడుపడని సమస్య. ప్రపంచంలో కిడ్నీ వ్యాథులు తీవ్రంగా ఉన్న 3 ప్రాంతాలలో ఉథ్ధానం ఒకటి( శ్రీలంకలో, నికరగ్వాలో మిగిలిన 2 ఉన్నాయి).ఉద్దానంలో గత 10ఏళ్లలో 4వేలమంది చనిపోయారు, 34వేలమంది తీవ్రమైన కిడ్నీ వ్యాథులతో బాధలు పడుతున్నారు. ప్రభుత్వాల నిర్లక్ష్యంతో పాటు ప్రజల ఆహార అలవాట్లు, అక్కడి వాతావరణం, తాగునీరు అన్నీ దీనికి కారణమే. కిడ్నీ వ్యాధులు ప్రబలే తీవ్రత దేశవ్యాప్తంగా 7% ఉంటే ఉద్దానం ప్రాంతంలో 25% నుంచి 30% ఉంది. ఇచ్చాపురం, కంచిలి, కవిటి, మందాస, పలాస,సోంపేట, వజ్రపు కొత్తూరు మండలాలలో తీవ్రంగా ఉంది. దీనిపై పరిశోధనలు జరుగుతున్నాయి, పరిష్కారం దొరుకుతుందనే ఆశాభావంతో ఉన్నారు. అక్కడి నీటిలో హైలెవల్ సిలికా కనుగొన్నారు. సాయిల్ లో, గ్రవుండ్ వాటర్లో టాక్సిక్ మెటీరియల్ బైటపడింది. దీనిపై ఇంకా ఉన్నత స్థాయిలో రిసర్చ్ జరగాల్సివుంది. హర్వర్డ్ మెడికల్ స్కూల్, ఇండియన్ కౌన్సిల్ ఆఫ్ మెడికల్ రిసెర్చ్ (ఐసిఎంఆర్) అధ్యయనాలు జరిపాయి, ఫలితం శూన్యం. 2010,2011లో కింగ్ జార్జి హాస్పటల్ , హార్వర్డ్ మెడికల్ స్కూల్ బృందాలు దీనిపై పరిశోధన జరిపాయి. కానీ రిసెర్చ్ ను అర్ధాంతరంగా నిలిపివేశారు. ‘‘ ఫేజ్ 1 పరిశోధనకు కేవలం రూ.25లక్షలే అప్పటి ప్రభుత్వం కేటాయించింది. ఫేజ్ 2, ఫేజ్ 3 కు మరో రూ.85లక్షలు కావాలి. కానీ ప్రభుత్వం నుంచి స్పందనలేదు, అందుకే 2011లో రిసెర్చిని నిలిపివేసినట్లుగా’’ పరిశోధన బృందం నేత డా.రవిరాజు తెలిపారు. గత ఏడాది హాంగ్ కాంగ్ లో జరిగిన నెఫ్రాలజి వరల్డ్ కాంగ్రెస్ లో కూడా రవిరాజు దీనిపై ప్రసంగించారు. 2014లో తెలుగుదేశం ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి వచ్చాక అనేక చర్యలు తీసుకుంది. శ్రీకాకుళంల రిమ్స్ లో, టెక్కలిలో డయాలసిస్ సెంటర్లు ఏర్పాటు చేసింది. మరో డయాలసిస్ సెంటర్ త్వరలోనే ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నారు. సంక్షిప్త నివేదిక సౌజన్యం: తెలుగుదేశం పార్టీ నాలెడ్జి సెంటర Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Researches were going on and off from 2001 masaab.. but no proper funds nd direction. So every team is starting from scratch...lots of delays due to that.
