CHivaraki kattina kani full fldge upoyagam leni situation ippudu   "the contractor changed the designs reducing the number of gates from 33 to 24 and also changed the left non-over flow (NOF) dam from concrete to earth leading to another controversy. Though the TDP strongly opposed the changes in design, YSR government stood by the contractor saying that he was permitted to do it under EPC.  Now Center inspection committee is objecting that EARTH work quality instead of CONCRETE and saying it is risky to store 45 TMC water. Original Concrete ettesi earth work tho support frame kattaru. Experts made lot of noise but YSR govt given special permission for that change to benefit contractor.  Irrigation experts are worried of this project strength and also center inspection committee raised lot of concerns. They suggested lot of repair works recently. avi cheyyamani adigite contractor gadu extra money adigadu.  Recently AP govt asked for strengthening of project and the contractor wanted extra 350 crores.  As per YSR govt special provisions given we have no option but to pay and getting things corrected to be safe.  Safety 1st a repairs ayye daka anna koncham santinchandi.    A design change  taruvata kuda project start cheyyala contractor gadu even though it saved 60 crores for him outright. Capapcity penchetam kadu gani mundu "support non over-flow earth tesese concrete cheyyali safety ki" Gates ki pakkana flood vaste side lo katte frame adi. danni earth work tho support ki change chesaru after he got contract.  Recent inspection found below  - weakness in support and structure - gates not opening properly e.t.c  One of the main reasons YSR never started RESERVOIR/DAM in Jalayagnam is because it has Central inspection so looting is not easy. In 75,000 crores Jalayagnam works by 2009 they never took any storage works as it will have Center Inspection and contractor has liability.
