India lo Covaxin vesukunna vallaki pfizer or moderna booster esukovacha?

Covaxin mRna based aite bavundu should have been fine anduke doubt kodtundi... kya bolte dr saab @Dr.Koneru

mRna base is a new tech. Covaxin (the oldest and safest form of vaccine) and covishield (mix of new and old tech). 3rd  dose of any of these two can be considered as booster but mRNA based ki idi booster kinda link cheyalemu. But a fresh dose of the above said 2 can give fresh boost of immunity which we all are hoping would give some fight for the new variants.

“Existing #COVID19 jabs will struggle against the #Omicron variant & it will take months to develop a new shot that works, the head of US vaccine manufacturer Moderna, Stephane Bancel, has told FT.

Solid data coming in 2 weeks.

Moderna is constantly giving these negative vibes….

Pfizer booster for Moderna and vice versa. Seems like a dealing between the companies.

No no.

Per Biden tweet, only Pfizer has confirmed their efficiency against Omicron. Moderna data on the efficiency against Omicron is not yet received.

So, Pfizer is the better option for everyone at the moment.

Sure. Thats why I said..."at the moment" Pfizer is recommended than Moderna considering Omicron. Once Moderna publishes their efficacy rates against Omicron then our preferences n recommendations may change
