Rohit gone

Doug Bracewell to Rohit, out Caught by Guptill!! Perfect start for NZ after the break. Short of a length delivery outside off stump, may have just moved away a tad off the pitch, but it must be said that it was a lazy push away from the body from Rohit and he edged this straight to the lone slip fielder. Bounced extra and hit him high on the bat there. Ro looked sluggish throughout, was never a 100% with his strokes or the movement in the crease today. Rohit c Guptill b Doug Bracewell 11(24) [4s-1]

19:21 Local Time, 06:21 GMT, 11:51 IST: This is interesting, the umpries are converging. Looks like play is going to be stopped because the sun is right in the batsman's eye and Dhawan wasn't able to spot that ball delivered by Ferguson. Normally, the pitch in cricket grounds are positioned in a North-South direction precisely to avoid this scenario, but at McLean Park, the pitch is facing East-West. Never imagined I'd be writing, Sun stops play.

New Zealand vs India, 2nd ODI

When: Saturday, January 26 at 3:00 PM local time (7:30 AM IST)

Where: Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui

What to expect: 371, 326, 319 and 298 were the totals in the previous series at this venue, with New Zealand overcoming special efforts from Kusal Perera and Thisara Perera. But it's a different challenge altogether against India's superior batting and bowling arsenal. Pleasant conditions will welcome the teams with a high of 25 degree Celsius and no rain expected.
