Why do people shell out huge amount on mobiles is it due to brand or performance or necessity or any other specific reason.

Naku personal ga mobile medha 10k -15k minchi petatam waste anipistadhi, these have good enough processor and can run most of the apps.

Costly mobile with complete highend specs thisukunna do atleast 50% of people utilise them to their complete potential 🧐

Epati nuncho vunna doubt.

What is your opinion, regarding premium mobiles vs mid rangers.Main ga spending 60k to 1lakh on mobiles, whats the necessity ?

many factors

  • many people like to use their phones for longer periods, instead buying cheap phone every year( going through all hassle of data transfers), they get high-end phone that can be used for multiple years.
  • due to frequent software updates, not every phone is equipped to handle the software load, so cheap phone slow down very fast, in some cases affects the battery discharge as well.
  • internal components & materials used in the phones that helps the longevity of the device, example - 8GB ram in $300 phone is not same as 8Gb ram used in $1000 phone, it matters in the long run.
  • DLSR quality cameras in high-end phone, not even comparable with any other phones.
  • Too many players in low-end phone market, especially bloated with Chinese manufacturers. Not enough quality companies in that market. some still exists, like Nokia, Motorola, Samsung but cannot compete with Chinese companies in terms of features vs price. even companies like OnePlus (of course another Chinese company) started as low-end company and moved towards premium end, due to sales vs profits.
  • Security & Bloatware
  • Look & feel
  • Premium materials
  • status symbol
  • show off

either one or combination of factors affects one's decision making..

I believe this reason.. We can use long time, premium quality gives longevity.. Ofc lo dosth లు ప్రతి 2 yrs ki ఒక phone order istha vuntaru flipkart n Amazon lo 15k around, moto ani real mi అని, manchidi konochu కదా ra long time use cheyyochu అంటే అంత డబ్బులు లేవు అంటారు Comedy ga... 😅 My phone note 5 completes 6 yrs in few more months, మా dost gallaki comedy inni yrs ఎవడు vaadadu అని... 😁

Naa వరకు spending on electronics is dead investment, so buy once with good quality n use it for longtime....

Only old plain phones will work for 10 years, no smart phone will work. Max life will be 4 years . After that OS will give up .

Will use iPhone for 4 years max

still it will be in working condition.

naa reasons

1. ease of usage.

2. Security for banking and all personal mails

3. Photos

4. Safari

5. office mail only in iPhone

one thing I like in iPhone is Navigating between web pages (back/forward) is a simple swipe. Same goes for majority of apps.

Home minister using S8+ always have to use a bit extra time to perform anything(may be too much used to single interface).

And same app look and feel is different between iOS & Android. And android apps feel like embedded browser with accessing web portal.
