Big Data field lo how to enter

hadoop nerchukunte chalu as of now. spark is more kind of a interface tool which helps us with features. Also people with database, analytics and BI have better chances to get adapted quickly

note:- above info is 6 months old and at that time spark is trying new stuff not sure if they upgraded.

evadini adigina java ravali antaru picha lite teesuko, Tarvatha ade vastadi. As u mentioned they are vendors who provide bigdata as a service. u can learn hadoop and spark tarvatha evadina atu itu ga same untai anni except for their interfaces.

i work for business intelligence and data analysis. mostly all DB's touch chestha as different groups use their own database.  50% tools only knowledge. Tableau, Spotfire, Oracle, Sql server, Cognos ithe personal ga work chestha :)

Join in Hadoop.. There are 9 comonents in Haddoop.

HDFS - Storage and Processing Huge data. Here learning how to maintain Cluster.

MapReduce - Java Knowledge required

Sqoop & Hive - SQL Knowledge

xxx - Those who don't have Java and SQL

Hbase - NoSQL Database but framing queries as like SQL.

Market is good....

 @uraviscurrently i am linux admin bro..programming lo experience ledu...database knowledge avasarama bro like mysql in hadoop?

all reporting tools r same and most skills comes from analytical thinking and choosing KPI
