Andhra Dada
Whats are the differences between pattiseema n bhaktha ramadasu lift irrigation projects ? Some are circulating false information saying both are same projects but ramadasu completed in less time with less budget..as far as I know pattiseema is a river linking project which is much bigger than ramadadu which is like any other small lift irrigation projects. Siddhugwotham
TRS gave over publicity on bhakta ramadas. Sure they got inspiration from our pattiseema. From TDP sources, Bhakta Ramadas lift irrigation project provides irrigation to just 6 mandals in Khammam district. But Pattisema survived entire Krishna Delta in Krishna, Guntur and WG districts. LuvNTR
Bhakta ramdasu project is only lifts 5 tmc feet water from palair balancing reservoir. with this 5 tmc feet water. cost the spend 350 Cr around. they are planning to give water to 58k acres in 5 mandals present in khammam. Palair reservoir itself gets water from nagarjuna sagar left bank canal. So krishna lo water vosthe palair lo water vochinatlu. The bhakta ramadasu project was designed to lift water up to 59 meters and dropping into DBM 60 of Sriram Sagar Project (SRSP) Stage-II at 45 km near Madiripuram village through pump houses, pressure mains and delivery cisterns. akkada just pump house katti pumps pettaru. all canals were already dug for sri ram sagar stage 2 canal. Even pumps, pipes and motor etc. major equipments were used from stock purchased for rajiv sagar and indira sagar projects. Proof is this link. where as pattiseema is designed with 24 pumps to lift 80 TMC feet of water. It is also involved to dug around 200 KM of canal and lining works along with 5 aquidects construction.
