sonykongara 1,618 Posted December 23, 2016 Author Share Posted December 23, 2016 సీతానగరం కొండపై అతి పెద్ద బుద్ధ విగ్రహం గుంటూరు: రాజధాని ముఖద్వారంగా వున్న ప్రకాశం బ్యారేజీ సమీపంలోని సీతానగరం కొండపై బుద్ధుని విగ్రహం ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబునాయుడు తాజాగా ఇచ్చిన ఆదేశాలు పర్యాటకానికి నూతన రూపు తీసుకురానున్నాయి. గత ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో సీతానగరం కొండపై హిల్‌ ప్రాజెక్టు పేరుతో 60 అడుగుల బుద్ధుని విగ్రహం ఏర్పాటు చేసి పర్యాటకంగా తీర్చిదిద్దడానికి 2011లో వీజీటీఎం ఉడా ప్రతిపాదనలు రూపొందించింది. రూ.73.12 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో మూడు దశల్లో కొండను అభివృద్ధి చేయడానికి 2012లో అప్పటి మునిసిపల్‌ శాఖ మంత్రి మహీధర్‌రెడ్డి సీతానగరం వద్ద శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు. ఈ ప్రాజెక్టులో తొలుత బుద్ధుని విగ్రహం ఏర్పాటు చేయడానికి ప్రతిపాదించారు. తొలిదశలో రూ.13.62 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో అప్రోచ్‌ రోడ్లు, భూమి చదును సదుపాయాల కల్పన, రెండవ దశలో పర్యాటకులకు ఆరోగ్యపరంగా నేచురోపతి, ఆహ్లాదకర సదుపాయాలు, 600 మందికి సరిపడా రెస్టారెంట్‌ నిర్మించడం వంటివి ప్రతిపాదించారు. అయితే ఆ ప్రాజెక్టు ప్రతిపాదనలు దాటి ముందుకు వెళ్లలేదు. బోధసిరి హిల్‌ ప్రాజెక్టుకు దాదాపు 47 ఎకరాలు అవసరమవుతుందని అప్పటి ఉడా అధికారులు గుంటూరు కలెక్టరుకు విన్నవించారు. తాడేపల్లి మండల రెవెన్యూ పరిధి సర్వే నెం.199/1లో సుమారు 78 ఎకరాలలో ప్రకాశం బ్యారేజీ నుండి ఉండవల్లి కూడలి వరకు సీతానగరం కొండ విస్తరించి వుంది. ఇందులో 10.41 ఎకరాలలో రెవెన్యూ అధికారులు పట్టాలు మంజూరు చేయగా, 12 ఎకరాల్లో రాతి క్వారీ నిర్వహించారు. పుష్కర పనులలో భాగంగా రోడ్డు విస్తరణలో మంత్రి ఆవిష్కరించిన శిలాఫలకాన్ని కూడా తొలగించారు. తాజాగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఆదేశాల మేరకు ప్రాజెక్టు ఏర్పాటు చేసే ప్రతిపాదనలు మళ్లీ తెరపైకి రావడంతో సీతానగరం కొండను పర్యాటకంగా తీర్చిదిద్దే అవకాశాలు మెండుగా కనిపిస్తున్నాయి. Nagireddy has discovered a huge Buddhist settlement with traces of stupas, chaityas and viharas on the Seethanagaram hill located on the outskirts of Vijayawada city. The relics surfaced as part of a survey conducted under the guidance of Mr. Nagireddy. A rock-cut cistern, once used by the Buddhist monks during the rainy retreat, located next to the recently taken up Ramanuja-Vasudeva temple complex by the Jeeyar Trust provided a clue on the existence of a Buddhist monastery on the right side. Further probing revealed brick-built viharas datable to 1{+s}{+t}century BC to the 2{+n}{+d}century AD. The bricks used in the construction measured 60x28x7 cm. “A rock-cut steps-like path leading to the top of the hillock perhaps helped the monks reach the monastery,” says Mr. Nagireddy. Members of the Trust, while laying a ghat road in the area, also discovered two Vishnu idols carved in khondalite stone and one Govardhana Giridhara idol datable to 6{+t}{+h}to 10{+t}{+h}century. The idols currently are in the safe custody of the Trust. Extensive survey planned Going by the ample possibility of existence of more such Buddhist relics at the site, Mr. Nagireddy has requested the Trust members to safeguard the antiquities that could be exhibited to the public at a later stage. He said the CCV will take up an extensive survey of the place very soon. Archaeologists believe that Andhra Pradesh became a Buddhist stronghold due to the active patronisation by the wealthy classes of the Godavari-Krishna delta. A large number of Buddhist chaityas, viharas and stupas have been unearthed in this State. Some major sites in the area where Buddhist relics have been excavated are Nagarjunakonda, Anupu, Dhulikatta, Aduru, Bhattiprolu and Bavikonda. Link to post Share on other sites

It is now looking for a consultant to prepare a technical and feasibility report, after which tenders will be floated. As Amaravati is known as a popular Buddhist destination and Chief Minister Chadnrababu Naidu also named newly constructing capital city after Amaravati, he is keen in tje development of archaeological sites and Buddhist circuits around this place. So he has directed APTDC to take up this project. According to APTDC Managing Director M Girija Shankar the proposed statue will be a new attraction for the tourists visiting Andhra Pradesh. A 45-feett statue of Lord Buddha is located in Bhutan. Similarly, she said efforts are also being made to invite Dalai Lama for the Kalachakra which would be held in Amaravati either towards the end of December 2017 or in the first week of January, 2018. The state government is hopeful that visit of Dalai Lama for Kalachakra attended will popularise the Buddhist shrines in the State. APTDC is also focusing on water sports in a big way by launching heli-tourism and seaplane sorties. A master plan is also being prepared for the development of all beaches in the State right from Itchapuram to Tada and in Konaseema. Hotels, resorts and restaurants would be build all along the highway. On popular demand, the corporation is making immediate plans to build cottages in Lambasingi for which an amount of Rs 40 crore would be spent over the next five years. International TV channel National Geographic, have also been brought to Amaravati due to its vigorous development and the history. The channel officials have consulted the Commissioner of AP development authority to talk upon the documentary that the channel planned to film on the dream city Amaravati. The title for the documentary has been proposed to be “The super city of Amaravati”. The film would include the interview of CM Chandra Babu Naidu discussing his vision and strategies to make the city one of the most developed one of the world. The budget of the film is estimated to be about 80 Lakhs of rupees. There used to be a Hindu temple on that hill (almost at the top). So, this will be higher than that and also higher than Durga temple on the other side, not sure how it will be received. sonykongara 1,618 Posted December 28, 2016 Author Share Posted December 28, 2016 పర్యాటక కేంద్రంగా సీతానగరం కొండ బుద్ధ విగ్రహం ఏర్పాటుకు స్థల పరిశీలన తాడేపల్లి, న్యూస్‌టుడే: తాడేపల్లి పరిధిలోని కృష్ణానది ఒడ్డునే వున్న సీతానగరం కొండను పర్యాటకా కేంద్రంగా అభివృద్ధి చేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం సంకల్పింది. ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబునాయుడు ఆదేశాల మేరకు కొండపై బుద్ధవిగ్రహం ఏర్పాటుకు అధికారులు కసరత్తు ప్రారంభించారు. ఇందులో భాగంగా సంయుక్త కలెక్టర్‌ ఆదేశాల మేరకు తాడేపల్లి రెవెన్యూ అధికారులు మంగళవారం ఉదయం సీతానగరం కొండపైన పరిస్థితిని పరిశీలించారు. సర్వేనంబర్‌ 199/1లో విస్తరించివున్న కొండ 78 ఎకరాలుగా రెవెన్యూ అధికారులు లెక్కకట్టారు. ఇందులో 12.6 ఎకరాలు అప్పట్లో రాతిక్వారీ నిర్వహించారు. మరో 10.41 ఎకరాల్లో అధికారులు పట్టాలు మంజూరుచేశారు. 22 సెంట్లు స్థలంలో ఆండాలమ్మ దేవాలయానికి కేటాయించారు. ఇటీవల కాలంలో సీతానగరం కొండపై శ్రీమధుభయ వేదాంతాపీఠం నేతృత్వంలో కొన్ని ఆలయాలను నిర్మించారు. వీటి నిర్మాణానికి సంబంధించిన అనుమతులను చూపాల్సిందిగా సంబంధిత ఆశ్రమ వర్గాలను రెవెన్యూ అధికారులు కోరారు. కొండపై స్థలం ఏవిధంగా సంక్రమించిందో తెలియజేయడంతోపాటు దానికి సంబంధించిన పత్రాలను చూపించాలని అధికారులు కోరారు. కొండపై ఆలయాలు నిర్మించగా మిగిలిన స్థలంలో బుద్ధవిగ్రహం ఏర్పాటుకు అవసరమైన ప్రతిపాదనలను ప్రభుత్వానికి సమర్పించనున్నారు. 2011లో హిల్‌పార్కు ఏర్పాటునకు అప్పటి కలెక్టర్‌ని భూమి కేటాయించాలని కోరారు. ఆతరువాత కొండపై హిల్‌పార్కు, 60 అడుగుల ఎతైన బుద్ధ విగ్రహం ఏర్పాటుకు ప్రతిపాదించారు. 2013లో అప్పటి ప్రభుత్వం సీతానగరంకొండపై రూ.73.12 కోట్లతో వీజీటీఎం వుడా ద్వారా బోదిశిరి హిల్‌పార్కు ఏర్పాటునకు ప్రతిపాదించి శంకుస్థాపన కూడా చేశారు. తాజాగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబునాయుడు సీతానగరం కొండపై బుద్ధవిగ్రహం ఏర్పాటు చేసేందుకు అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ఈమేరకు రెవెన్యూ అధికారులు రంగంలోకిదిగి కొండను సంబంధించిన పూర్తి వివరాలతోపాటు వాటి సర్వేనంబర్లు, ఎవరెవరికి ఎంతెంతభూమి కేటాయించారు? ఆయా భూములు వారికి ఏవిధంగా సంక్రమించాయనే అంశాలపై వివరాలు సేకరిస్తున్నారు.
