You are missing the point here...who will take H1B visas and migrate to US if the pay is 25k dollars. Basic projects have to be outsourced to low income countries. This is the ABC of capitalism..US can't escape that. This dependency is both ways. People from the US often keep saying that India can't survive if the US stops outsourcing. This is a joke as in that scenario both US and India will be hurt.

And you are confused between political leadership and leadership in pvt companies. I can only say that the leadership in Indian pvt companies is top class. Even in my company which is laggard, we started digitalization and implemented a project with the help of a top IT Company. As the size of the Indian economy grows, share of domestic projects will keep increasing.

In the recent times I was quite satisfied with central govt policies such as PLI scheme, MII for defence equipment etc. We are going in the right direction.

Try to read about Dedicated freight corridor. Once it is fully functional, it will change logistics in the country.

Although I hate modi for what he did to AP, there are some policies which are very good and much needed for the economy.

The point is not about the ability of US to get manpower. Yes, US Cos. will get manpower but they will have to offer a lot more than what they are offering in India.

Therefore US cos not outsourcing is out of question. Projects are only going to increase. Atleast that is what Indian IT companies are projecting in their management commentary.
