I did annai.. but fast forward to 12+ years after that. Also money in numbers increased almost in multiples of 5 to 10 for certain services. I also have a feeling that in this time and age, even though some people know how to do certain things (deposit a check for example), they just begin by complaining.. Back in the day, I'd meet random people (mostly farmers or lower middle class) in the bank and end up helping them fill up a withdrawal or deposit slip, but these days things have changed dramatically.
