Nice movie, excellent performance by Christian Bates as an army officer. Some sensitive scenes between Native Americans and then US army was shown.

There will be blood (2007) - Drama

Excellent watch, added this movie to my favourites. Must watch for Daniel Day- Lewis’s performance, he won multiple prizes for this performance including Oscar, BAFTA, Golden globe and several others. 

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2018) - western

An anthology of six short movies. A worth watch, nice screenplay. Each short movie is like a climax.

The Pianist (2002) An autobiography film, Netflix

Story of a polish Jewish pianist during the Nazi occupation of Poland. An excellent movie though a rewatch. 

 

The Zookeeper’s wife (2017) - Drama, Netflix

Based on true events. A zookeeper gives hostage to about 300 Jews in her house basement during the Nazi invasion of Poland. A good watch for people interested in History.

Sorry last year except for COMA movie & Expanse nothing was good in sci-fi genre. Ypu have to look up to japanese anime for good sci-fi

If you are ok with fantasy then, on Netflix - Protector - Turkish & Shadowhunters (based on best-selling book series - Mortal Instruments) are good watch

Things heard and seen (2021) - Drama/horror

mild horror. Few scenes are good. Overall an average one

Miss Sloane (2016) Thriller/drama, Netflix

She is a lobbyist. Movie goes on a fast pace, climax is good. A good watch.

Quiet place part 2 (2021) - Thriller

 Lots of thrilling scenes. Director handling the parallel thrill scenes is perfect. Not any less than 1st part.

Small town Crime (2017) - Thriller, Netflix

An alcoholic ex-cop investigates the death of an young girl. 

The Clovehitch Killer (2018) - thriller, Netflix

The son suspects his role model father may be the serial killer. Good one.

The outlaw Josey Whales (1976) - Drama

Western movie set during American civil war. Good one. This movie is preserved in the national film registry.

Excellent movie but on the sad side. A female boxer excels in her profession but ends up in tragedy.  Directed by Clint Eastwood.

Biographic of James Brown, legend in music. Good one.
