Water infra for drinking, irrigation, flood or waste water drainage. Transport - road , rail, air, ship Power Communication Since 1991 India giving less importance to water infra. In rail we have to focus on upgrading tracks upto 160 kmph instead of wasting money on bullet trains. We need political will to implement cost effective solutions. In Bangalore rulers waste money on flyovers and delay implementing suburban rail. Metro rail gets preference over suburban rail. Airport connectivity is possible by upgrading signals with 130 crores and doubling track till devanahalli. But politicians not showed interest in the proposal. In Hyderabad 6 km rail line requires 60 crores for airport mmts connectivity. Gmr objected to build station near airport. Same gmr agreed for 6000 crore metro rail.
