mannam Posted November 15, 2022 Share Posted November 15, 2022 అమెరికా అనేది ఒక అయస్కాంతం. ఏదో చదువు పూర్తి చేసుకుని వెళ్ళి పోదామని కొందరు, లేకపోతే కొన్నేళ్ళు ఉద్యోగం చేసి నాలుగు రాళ్ళు వెనకేసుకుని ఇండియాకి వెళ్ళిపోదామని ఇంకొందరు అనుకుని అమెరికాలో అడుగుపెడతారు మొదట్లో. దానికి తగ్గట్టుగానే చాలామంది బ్యాచ్లర్స్ గా ఉండగానే అమెరికాకు వస్తారు, ఉద్యోగానికి కానీ, చదువుకోవటానికి కానీ. బ్యాచ్లర్ గా ఉన్నప్పుడు ఖర్చులు తక్కువగా ఉండటం వలన డబ్బులు బాగానే దాచిపెట్టుకుంటూ ఇండియాలో కూడా ఎంతో కొంత ఆస్థులు దాచిపెడతారు. అప్పుడే నెమ్మదిగా పెళ్ళి, పిల్లలు అనే దానిమీద గాలి మళ్ళుతుంది. ఈలోపు అమెరికాకి వచ్చి 2-3 ఏళ్ళు అయి ఉంటుంది సాధారణంగా. ఇంతలో పెళ్ళి అవటం, పిల్లలు అమెరికాలో పుట్టటం వలన అమెరికన్ సిటిజెన్స్ అవటం జరుగుతుంది. పిల్లలు పెరిగేకొద్దీ ఖర్చులు పెరగటంతోపాటు, సొంత ఇల్లు, పెద్ద కార్లు లాంటి వాటికి మనసు పోయి సేవింగ్స్ తగ్గిపోతాయి. ఇవన్నీ ఒక వైపు జరుగుతున్నప్పుడే 6 సంవత్సరాల హెచ్ 1బీ వీసా ముగుస్తుంది. కరెక్ట్ గా 5 వ సంవత్సరంలో కానీ 6 వ సంవత్సరంలో కానీ గ్రీన్ కార్డ్ కి ఫైల్ చేస్తాడు కంపెనీ వాడు. ఇక అప్పటి నుంచి ఒక్కో స్టెప్ దాటుకుంటూ I-140 స్టేజ్ కొచ్చేసరికి ఇంకో సంవత్సరం పడుతుంది. అప్పుడు ఆ అప్రూవ్ ఐన I-140 పెట్టుకుని గ్రీన్ కార్డ్ వచ్చేంతవరకూ అదే కంపెనీని వదలకుండా పనిచేస్తూ ప్రతి మూడు సంవత్సరాలకొకసారి వీసా రెన్యూవల్ చేసుకుంటూ నెలనెలా వీసా బులెటిన్ చెక్ చేసుకుంటూ, నెట్ ఫ్లిక్స్, అమెజాన్ ప్రైమ్ లో తెలుగు, ఇంద్లీష్, మలయాళం, కొరియన్ సినిమాలు చూసుకుంటూ, పిల్లలని పెంచుతూ, ఆటపాటలకి తిప్పుతూ, ఇంటి వాయిదాలు, కారు వాయిదాలు కట్టుకుంటూ జీవితాన్ని గడపుతూ ఉండటమే అమెరికా జీవితం 😂😂😂 మళ్ళీ కరోనా లాంటిది వచ్చి మొత్తం కాన్సులేట్లు మూసేస్తే తప్ప ఇండియావాళ్ళకి గ్రీన్ కార్డులు త్వరగా రావు. ఎవరెంత లాబీ చేసినా గ్రీన్ కార్డ్స్ పెంచనంతవరకూ ఉపయోగం లేదు. ఒకవేళ కంట్రీ కోటా ఎత్తెయ్యటానికి ప్రయత్నించాలన్నా ఆ బిల్లు హౌస్ లో పాస్ అవటమే కానీ సెనేట్ లో పాస్ అయ్యే అవకాశాలు దాదాపు శూన్యం. 2007 నుంచీ చూస్తూనే ఉన్నాను, ఎన్నో అడ్డంకులు దాటుకుని, వాళ్ళని వీళ్ళనీ బ్రతిమాలుకుని బిల్ స్పాన్సర్ చేయించి హౌస్ లో ఓటింగ్ పెట్టటం, తర్వాత సెనేట్ కి పంపటం, అది అక్కడే చెదలు పట్టిపోవటం. లేకపోతే కాంప్రహెన్సివ్ ఇమ్మిగ్రేషన్ అనే పాట పాడటం. గ్రీన్ కార్డ్ బ్యాక్ లాగ్ పోవాలంటే ఉన్న ఒకే ఒక్క సొల్యూషన్ హెచ్ 1బీ, ఎల్1 వీసాల్లో కూడా కంట్రీ కోటా పెట్టటం. అలాగే స్టూడెంట్ వీసా నిబంధనల్ని పటిష్ఠం చెయ్యటం, ఫేక్ EB1C గ్రీన్ కార్డ్ పిటీషన్స్ ని కట్టడి చెయ్యటం. కానీ కంపెనీలు, యూనివర్సిటీలు వీసాలకోసమైతే లాబీ చేస్తాయి కానీ గ్రీన్ కార్డ్ కోసం ఐతే చెయ్యవు, ఒకవేళ చేస్తున్నామని చెప్పినా అందులో నిజం ఉండదు. కానీ గ్రీన్ కార్డ్ నంబర్ పెంచటం అనేది దాదాపు అసాధ్యం.
