Telsinavalu details plz CRDA lo huge land ekkada vundi??? Parks, roads, state Govt buildings, bus/metro stands/stops......etc.... land is needed for every thing. farmers ki ivvali. after all this, govt ki 3k-4k land vuntundhi. Then land is needed for central govt buildings, educational institutes, hospitals, housing for poor..etc...etc.. then land need for private office buildings... industries.. de-notification idea is there for the last 2 years.. nothing new. de-notification ante ventane trees cut chestaru ani kaadhu. whenever needed they can use that land ani. elopu new lands lo trees plant chestaru. 6-7 years lo trees perugutayi. don't see any thing wrong in trading high valubale lands near CRDA with low valuable lands for forestation. sonykongara
BJP led Central government is totally acting insensitive over the issues pertaining to Andhra Pradesh. Union Forests Ministry is sitting on the file proposing to de-notify forest lands in the Capital region. Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act promises to de-notify the necessary forest lands for the Capital Construction. The state government wants to de-notify 13285.25 hectares (32828 acres) of Forest Land for Amaravati. In lieu of these lands, the state government offered to grow forests in the lands in Nellore, Prakasam, Kadapa and Srikakulam districts. The state government promised to have non-polluting industries, environmental tourism projects, health and educational institutions here. Two central teams came to Amaravati and the alternative land areas. A meeting between CRDA officials, State Forest department officials and the central officials happened in Delhi. This meeting happened couple of months ago but the center is sitting on the proposal with out giving any confirmation.

sonykongara
The state government had applied for denotification of 19000 hectares of forest lands but the Union Forests and Environment Ministry is sitting on the film. The state government was made to decrease the proposal of denotification from 19000 hectares to 13000 hectares now citing various reasons. They now say that the 13000 hectares can be denotified only if they are not used for residential and commercial purpose which means that the land will be of very less use for the state even if denotified. Even then the clearances can only given after submitting the detailed Master Plan, they clarified. They are also asking how will they fulfill compensatory afforestation criteria and where will they plant the new trees has to be clearly committed. It looks like Center is all set to deliver one more shock to the state.

Housing for poor in crda? - impossible Companies ki etc land should be allocated outside crda. Let's not put everything there considering future population living capacity in crda. 120+ cores of Indians and hardly 5 or 6 cities providing employment to youth in different states. Let's also develop other cities like Kkd,bizag, kurnool etc instead of centralization all in crda. Once a beautiful Bangalore no more now .. Why? That answers everything. If something really demands from govt for forestland then asking only that part would be better.
