Nandamuri Balakrishna is fondly referred as the 'Nandamuri Natasimham' by his fans who've decided to gift him a 'Lion' to commemorate the launch of the actor's 100th film. Well, the actor hasn't yet decided on the landmark film yet but his fans have decided on the make of the souvenir — A brown colored crystal granite Lion (10*4.5 ft) costing around Rs 1,000, 000.( Ten laks)

"We want the idol to be ready in 6-9 months, hopefully Balayya's 100th film will be launched by then. He is the only star son to have achieved that feat and we wanted to celebrate that," said Anantapuram Jagan, founder, NBK Helping Hands.

Wife Vasundhara to write about Balayya

A book titled Nandamuri Sikharam, will also be presented to the actor along with the Lion idol. "The first page of the book will be written by Balayya's wife Vasundhara. It will be a 1000 page long book in which actors, filmmakers and technicians who've worked with Balayya will reflect on Balakrishna's cinematic journey," adds Jagan.

Balayya to become grand-dad

Even as the expectancy around the superstar's 100th film is peaking up, looks like another personal landmark is beckoning Balakrishna who is set to become a grandfather soon. The actor's elder daughter Brahmani who is married to Nara Lokesh (son of Chandrababu Naidu), is due to become a mother soon. Recently, both the families hosted a grand baby showers function for Brahmani in the city.
