why they are bowling toss bolls I am not understanding , WI is not dependent on gayle , gayle involvement against win with ireland and pakistan is nil.

last 20 innnings he has made first 50 runs in last match.

Before coming to WC , WI played against SA , without galye's batting display they lost the series 2-3 ,

first three matches SA won but next two WI won.  SAAMY , SIMMONS , AD RUSSELL , RAMDIN and samuels are most importent in their recent wins

you are right! if gayle fails and WI has to win, the players you mentioned has to play. however if gayle clicks, he wilkl win you matches single handedly. The frequency at which Gayle clicks is directly proportional to that of Sehwag!!

Coming to today's match, I dont see any intent from the WI in the field. Bowlers spraying it around. fielders couldn't restrict second run. singles are being converted into doubles and WI players are not even trying to cut them down.
