rahul and unmukt chand next generation opening pair (after 3 years)

dont think so, they unfortunately fall in wrong generation.

Vijay will play for a good no of years for India until things go horribly wrong. moreover we will see some new candidate in 3 years time. India is a batsman factory

Avv dravid replacement annaru cut cheste vedine replace chesela unnaru

Its more of a confidence issue rather than technical flaw as far as Pujara is concerned.

Vijay: good outings in SA, NZ, Eng and continuing that confidence and form to Eng.

Kohli: he may have that bad England tour but got his confidence back after some hundreds in ODIs and now he has carried that form to Aus

Rahane: Good outings in NA, SA Eng and some good performances in ODIs as well, carried that confidence into Aus

Pujara: not much cricket other than test cricket and he dont play any short format. The hell part is he is yet to come ahead of the mental block in his mind. He is not confident at the crease and not moving his feet that freely.

Dhawan: bad outing in SA and Eng but good series in NZ and some fine peformances in ODI just before Aus series. He already scored an 80+ score but somehow i feel he too like Pujara is short of confidence when it comes to longer format.

so IMO, post this WC, BCCI should send the test players for a full season of county cricket that will make a world of good for the Test team. even fast bowlers benefit with a county stint. remember Zak and Sreesanth, both of these quicks, added another asset that is reverse swing in their armory after playing a season of county cricket. sad that we dont have any one of them now.
