More than we Indians, it is the westerners who have utmost respect for Indian religions, no wonder Steve Jobs when he was down, he went to India and returned a disappointed man for there was no correlation between what was being preached & practiced ! and the list goes on. Westerners belief is based on way of life and India's so called religions are a way of life, be it, Hindusim, Buddhism, Sikhism or Jainism and that is where we have failed. Ganga is considered the most sacred river but the fact is, Ganga is one of the most polluted river's in the world! Musi river in Hyderabad which is 90% drainage water is more clean than river Ganga, what can be more saddening that even scientific analyses have proven the danger of bathing in river Ganga and yet, we extol the virtues of the very same river. I hope the cleansing work started by the late Mr. Rajiv Gandhi and now taken by Mr.Modi reaches its logical end and the once mighty river regains its lost glory. BTW, the pictures of river Ganga are there in our "Bommarillu" section posted about 2-3 years ago, someone pl take the time to bring it on to the top of the page. I have never said it is authenticated by science , I want to say that when physists feel that it is worthy to study then it will never be shit.and science never approves anything in the world. any science student would say that,most of them are presumptions to learn more deeply. there are people who don't agree that neel armstrong landed on the moon, there are people who differ with most of the reputed theories. all the theories, information, knowledge, even universal truths from science are modified, changed I guess. so you can't take it as a parameter to prove you can only use it to know more about it.
