ఇంటర్నెట్‌డెస్క్‌ ప్రత్యేకం : భారత్‌,చైనా సరిహద్దుల్లో ఉద్రిక్తతలు తీవ్రస్థాయికి చేరుకున్నాయి. సిలిగురి కారిడార్‌కు చేరువగా డొక్లామ్‌లో రహదారిని నిర్మించేందుకు యత్నించిన చైనీయులను భారత సైనికులు అడ్డుకోవడంతో ఆగ్రహంతో రగిలిపోతున్న చైనా మీడియా యుద్ధం ప్రారంభించింది. చైనా మేధావులు కొందరు 1962లో చైనా విజయాలను ప్రస్తావిస్తూ హెచ్చరికలు జారీ చేయడం గమనార్హం. 1962లో మనం చైనా చేతిలో వెనుకంజ వేసిన వేసిన అంశం వాస్తవమే.కానీ 1967లో సిక్కింలోని నాథు లా సెక్టార్‌లో చైనా సైన్యాన్ని చావుదెబ్బ తీసిన విషయం గుర్తుపెట్టుకోవాలని భారత మాజీ సైనికాధికారులు హెచ్చరిస్తున్నారు. నాలుగు రోజుల పాటు జరిగిన ఈ యుద్ధంలో చైనా దారుణంగా దెబ్బతినింది.

1967లో ఏం జరిగింది?

1967 ఆగస్టులో సిక్కిం సెక్టార్‌లోని నాథు లా మార్గం సమీపంలో చైనా సైన్యం రహస్యంగా చొచ్చుకువచ్చింది. భారత భూభాగంలో అక్రమంగా ప్రవేశించడమే కాకుండా కందకాలను కూడా తవ్వింది. దీన్ని గమనించిన భారత సైనికులు వాటిని నిలిపివేయమని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. కానీ ఈ విన్నపాలను చైనా ఏ మాత్రం ఖాతరు పెట్టలేదు. పైగా భారత దళాలపైకి కాల్పులు ప్రారంభించాయి. నాథు లా మార్గం కీలకంగా వ్యూహాత్మకమైనది దీనిని స్వాధీనం చేసుకుంటే సిక్కింని తమ ఆధీనంలోకి తీసుకువచ్చని చైనీయుల దుర్మార్గపు ఆలోచన. భారత సైనిక నాయకత్వం వెంటనే రంగంలోకి దిగింది. చైనా కాల్పులను తిప్పికొట్టాలని నిర్ణయించారు. తక్షణమే మన వైపు నుంచి కాల్పులు ప్రారంభమైంది. నాథు లాతో పాటు చో లా మార్గాలపై చైనా దాడులు ప్రారంభించింది. భారత సైనికులు వీరోచిత పోరాటానికి ఈ యుద్ధం తార్కాణంగా నిలిచింది. వరుసగా నాలుగు రోజుల పాటు జరిగిన యుద్ధంలో భారత దళాల ధాటికి చైనీయులు తట్టుకోలేక తమ సరిహద్దులకు పారిపోయారు. ఈ ఘర్షణల్లో భారత సైనికులు 88 మంది వీరమరణం పొందగా చైనా సైనికులు 450 మంది హతం కావడం గమనార్హం. ఇదే రీతి చోలా లా మార్గంలోనూ చైనీయులకు బుద్ధిచెప్పడంతో ఎర్రసైన్యం తోకముడిచింది. కానీ ఈ యుద్ధం విషయాలు ఎక్కువగా వ్యాప్తిలోకి రాకపోవడంతో భారత వీరోచిత పోరాటం మరుగునపడిపోయింది.

Bhutan counted on us for last 30 years.. we have rightly stepped up. in 2013, UPA gave up 600 square kilometers of land in Nathu-La sector when the chinese occupied it over an year time. didn't even let the army launch a fight back. this time it is going to be different.

Operational readyness veru.. stocking veru. There will never be a full blown war on two fronts that we will empty our ammo in 10 days. The present stocks let us drag the skirmish atleast 6 months. The people at the top of the army and defense are not idiots. They wont let army go barren in just 10 days. Thats why you need some practical info and how the conditions of our battles affect each party. To move a howitzer to doklam, China needs to spend atleast 5000 gallons of fuel per a single howitzer transport. India can do it with just 100 gallons as we hav garrisons standing at arunachal pradesh and UP. Except US, no country can withstand a long war in current world climate. If we are so worse, chinese would hav started a war now. I bet they are more intelligent than those who keep laughing on keyboards. Thats why we dont hav a war yet. We are far more ready than chinese. We hav 300 armed helis in sikkim while the chinese are still transporting. Some ppl need to come out of illusions. Indian army knows its strength and weaknesses and right now we are strong neednt fret much.
