Almost gone case. In 2009: The East GodavariWest Godavari Teachers constituency seat won by Chaitanya Educational Group (CEG) chairman KVV Satyanarayana Raju (Chaitanya Raju) with a majority of 313 votes against his nearest rival Ch Subashchandra Bose. Raju is supported by the Joint Action Committee of Teachers Organisations (JACTO) comprising 21 teachers unions. In 2009 Krishna-Guntur: UTF supported K Laxmana Rao restored his KrishnaGuntur Teachers constituency seat with a thumping majority of 5,691 votes over his immediate contender AV Ranga Rao. The winner, Laxmana Rao, is supported by the United Teachers Federation and the CPM. In 2014 Krishna -Guntur: UTF candidate lost by a margin of 1957 votes.
