dusukochadu
Doosukochadu bro might be talking about other countries like Syria, Iraq... and including them in Saudi. Mostly other countries are not following Shariah there as strictly as Saudi follows. They apply it partly in some cases & their own law in some cases.... and in some cases Shariah is purely personal for them. But, Saudi is not like that. The biggest issue which I see in all countries being rules by Sharia law is fatwas. Quran lo unnattu, anni follow avvataaniki Sharia law pettaru. But whenever they want to change anything or customize law, a mullah just issues a fatwa and they can create their own alternative law. For example, some Saudi countries lo women car drive cheyakudadu, ade country lo women can be a pilot . I don't know the logic. All oil resources available in Saudi are only for Saudi and not for export, as per Quran. But the export scenario is enabled with fatwa. Export tappu anatledu, when they want to follow Quran through Sharia law, why overwrite it? If they want to overwrite it, then why not have a democracy? chsrk
Peetadhipathi Guruji meeru I am an ardent follower masaab.... When Culture declines, the ultimate result is chaos....similarly when Knowledge declines, there will be superstition....... whenever there is chaos, there will always rise great men who will try to restore order and establish equilibrium.....One such great personality from the middle east was Prophet Mohammed.... Its always interesting to know the lives of great men.....If Prophet Mohammed waged Jihad against the Infidels, perhaps he was justified during his times....because the pagans of those days were completly derailed and needs to be set right......but problems would arise if what was a local phenomena being tried to scale up and extended the same to distant lands with their own cultures. .. There are many positive facets of Prophet Mohammed which are least understood, even by muslims themselves.....Prophet Mohammed was against cow-slaughtering, and many of the moghul rulers who ruled India from Babar to Auranzeb, imposed strict laws in their regimes and imposed capital punishments against those slaughtering the holy-animal....this is very well documented in their historical biographies...It was British who forcibly pushed muslims into cow slaughtering and pitted them against the Hindus.....Today, it is many politicians (most of them Hindus) who own slaughtering houses and kill the holy animal.....but it is the muslims who are blamed for, for even today most of the poor butchers are muslims... Holy cow suffers from being a respected Hindu animal...it would have served Humanity better if it had been truly an Islamic animal...they would have protected it with the missionary zeal they always had....Earnest Hindus and True Muslims should come forward and join hands once again to save this holy animal from being extinct.... When a small group of Prophet's followers were attacked by another tribe who was opposing Prophet's preaching, the group did not retaliate since they wanted peace as preached by Prophet. Since, they did not fight back, they were slaughtered and hurt really bad. Appudu, Prophet preached Jihad to his followers saying there is no wrong in defending your turf or attacking your enemy unless you do not hurt women, children and injured. But we all know what Jihad now is. Pity.
