It shows down trend of their voting %. Sympathy works or not. But this is the last chance to gain seats for YSRCP in the name of Sympathy. Every time same trump card not worked. Splitting of Anti Govt vote among TDP, LS and PRP was the advantage for TDP. If PRP not there in 2009 TDP would get more than 90 seats. That comes to 180 to form the Govt. You are absolutely correct, Cong would not have come to power but for PRP, one main reason why Mr.Rosiah refused to contest knowing the ground reality and also the financial position of the state.
