YSRCP followers and workers have been spreading the news that Nani is going to join BJP soon and that's why he rejected the whip post. They also claimed that Nani also met BJP minister Nitin Gadkari to join BJP. As the news is spreading online like a wildfire, MP Nani came forward and reacted. He affirmed that he is not going to shift his loyalties to BJP and confirmed that the aired news are rumours. He also cleared that he has no plans to join the saffron party. Speaking about the whip post, he thanked Chandrababu Naidu for giving a big post but expressed that he declined it as he thought he was unfit for the position.
