Hyderabad: The Telangana government’s ambitious plan to expand the state’s green cover from the existing 24% to 33%, through a five-year programme launched in 2015, may have taken off well but its implementation has faced serious challenges thus far.

The ‘Telanganaku Haritha Haram’ plan targeted planting around 2.3 billion trees.

Non-governmental organization Forum For Good Governance (FFCG) sought details of Eetha chettu (phoenix plant, a variety of the palm tree) seeds planted by the Prohibition Excise department from all the 31 districts since 2015 through a Right to Information (RTI) query.

Data shows that a good chunk of the saplings planted in all districts by the department have not survived. In many districts, the survival percentage of plants was less than half. For example, in Medak, Ranga Reddy, Warangal (urban), Suryapet and Gadwal district, only 45.88%, 60.01%, 31.69%, 48.75 % and 28.74% of the total saplings survived.

In fact, in what seems to be a goof-up in numbers in Nagarkurnool district, the number of saplings that survived were shown to be higher than what was planted.

 

According to the RTI data from Nagarkurnool district, out of the total 192,460 saplings planted, 138,954 (72.1%) have survived. In that, under the Achampet station’s inspection ledger, the planted saplings recorded were 500 and those that survived were 1,350.

The inspection was done by an official named K. Arun Kumar, on 10 August 2016.

“We are not against the Haritha Haram programme, but there should be better implementation. Also, the inspections are not being done properly. One person cannot make so many field visits in just one day,” pointed out M. Padmanabh Reddy, a retired forest officer and secretary of FFCG.

He was referring to data which clearly showed that excise department officials had made as many as nine field visits, inspecting more than 1,000 saplings in a day. Reddy, speaking out of experience, said it is not possible.

When contacted, Rajat Kumar, secretary to government (Forest, Science and Technology), conceded that survival of the plantations are a challenge. A letter to that effect, to ensure that the saplings survive, had been sent from his office to all district collectors on 15 July.

“Some of the plants (with regard to the phoenix plant) however have higher mortality,” said Kumar. He added that the state government is working on the survival aspect as well, and has engaged many officers to monitor the whole process.

“In fact, we have also geo-tagged about 19 crore plants from what was planted over the last two years. And we are providing sturdier tree guards this time,” Kumar added. Since the programme’s start, about 475.3 million seedlings were planted during 2015-16 and 2016-17.

And in the current 2017-18 phase, about 8 million seeds have been planted. Out of the total target of 2.3 billion (seeds), 1.2 billion will be in non-forest areas, 100 million in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) area, and the rest 100 crore in the existing degraded forest areas of Telanagna.

The funds for the programme are also being utilized from both state and central government sources. “For example, one of them is the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, through which we are hiring people as well. The total expense might be about Rs.1,500 crore so far,” said an official from the Telangana government, who is overseeing the programme.

A former Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (APPCF), government of Telangana, also said that only 100 million seeds had been planted till last year out of the targeted 1 billion, citing lack of funds. This was corroborated by an official from the same department.

Farmers Suicide: 2 Years after Saga Continues.

 

Her Husband Drank Pesticide. Now, She’s A Telangana Farmer, Needs Help

Yadadri, Telangana: Two years after her husband drank pesticide and killed himself unable to pay off farm debts, Manjula Karnala is a farmer herself.

At her home in a village in the Yadadri district of Telangana, about 80 km from Hyderabad, there are no photos of her husband, Sridhar Karnalala. Manjula explains that’s because her young son was tormented by reminders of his father. She keeps one picture of her husband locked up in her cupboard.

When Sridhar drank pesticide on Republic Day in 2015, he left behind a three-year-old son, a wife pregnant with their second child, and Rs 5.75 lakh in debt that had piled up as husband and wife tilled a two-acre farm they had leased together. Back-to-back years of drought meant their crop of cotton was ruined.

 

Manjula, a widow at 22, watched as debtors took away the land and the tractor that Sridhar had bought. Anything that was worth anything disappeared.

“I held on to only my two children, one in hand, the other my womb,” she said.

She still struggles with the fact that Sridhar, who was her partner at work and in life, did not confide in her when it was most crucial.  “If only he had spoken to me, we could have done something -probably migrated to the city and found work.”

 

Manjula was given a sewing machine by a local NGO called Swaraj Bharathi Trust.

 

Manjula travelled to Hyderabad to seek assistance from government offices; she says she visited the home and office of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Nizamabad MP Kavitha.  She claims she got no assistance and was denied Rs 5 lakh compensation due to families of farmers who commit suicide.

The only help came from a security guard at the government headquarters who saw her, heavily pregnant, waiting outside for two consecutive days; he gave her Rs 5,000. She took the money and admitted herself at a Hyderabad hospital to deliver her baby.

 

And then she returned to her village.  With her baby in tow, she first worked long hours at a factory.   She then took a small plot of farmland on lease (a big portion of the produce is pledged to the land owner) and grew paddy and maize. A local NGO, Swaraj Bharathi Trust, gave her a sewing machine.  She tailors clothes in her spare time to supplement her farming income.

“When you work hard, doors open. Now I feel confident that with just my work stitching blouses and saree falls, I can feed my children and family,” she said.

She has earned enough from her farm to pay off nearly Rs 2 lakh of the Rs 6 lakh loan taken by her husband.

Her biggest support, she says, is her mother-in-law, Lakshmi Narsamma.  “It was important that I stay with her, supporting her to look after the children while she is away at work. Otherwise the world is a very harsh place for a young widow. She has shown a lot of courage,” the elderly lady says.

Manjula explains why people like her are determined that their children eschew farming.

 

“When we are growing a crop, we are given hope that it will sell at a good price. The minute produce arrives in the market, the price crashed. What should we do? If the government promises remunerative prices, I promise to make both my sons farmers,” she says.

“Otherwise it is better to sweep the streets and earn Rs 6,000 a month than to survive as a farmer.”

Manjula now owes over Rs 4 lakh to debtors and hopes to raise enough money to start a small shop where she can sell sarees, petticoats and blouses that she stitches. She is determined that both her sons should go to school and get an education, whether or not they take up farming. She herself has enrolled for a college degree through a distance learning programme.

Telangana: 3036 Farmer Suicides In 3 Years, Second Highest In India’s Youngest State

Telangana state has become the second top state in farmer suicides for the second consecutive time in 2015, with of 1,358 farmers taking their own lives, according to the National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB).

 

As reported by The Week, Beeram Ramulu, the state vice president of Rythu Swarajya Vedika, an NGO working amidst farmers, said that 3036 farmers have killed themselves in the past three years. In 2014, there were 792 suicides, in 2015, 1147 suicides, in 2016, 784 suicides and in 2017, from the month of January to the month of June, there have been 294 suicides, in which the government has compensated close to 700 affected families.

Ramulu also added that there had been suicides in abundance since the Telangana Rashtra Samithi took over the 29th state in 2014. “The government has not even acknowledged the problem because this government believes if you ignore the problem it might go away,” he said.

 

Many farmers, oftentimes with small land holdings, cannot avail bank loans so depend on the mercy of private money lenders, who give them the money at higher interest rates.

As reported by NDTV, a series of small farmers complaint that the government had advised them to switch from growing maize to cotton this year, as the prices of cotton would possibly crash on account of an oversupply. The Chief Minister propagated this theory too. But maize cannot resist delayed rain, while cotton is much more hardy. The scarcity of rainfall in the month of August resulted in the very less production in the said crop.

 

In April 2016, 32-year-old Kodishala Raju sold one acre of land in an attempt to pay off debtors who were getting increasingly aggressive. It proved to be a futile exercise. He had borrowed four lakhs. The sale of the farm did not cover even the interest he owed. He also needed another loan for the Kharif or monsoon crop. He tried to configure solutions. He grew maize on land that he leased. When that too dried up, he drank pesticide and killed himself.

His wife, Geeta, says that neither compensation nor assistance was given to them from the government.

After three successive years of drought, the state of Telangana is on furlough from drought.

M Kodandaram who runs Telangana Rythu Joint Action Committee – an association of different farmer Modies says that the amount of Rs 700 crores were issued to aid the Telangana farmers in April by the centre, but the money was not distributed.

 

The situation is dire in other parts of India as well. As per the NCRB data, nearly 14 lakh tenant farmers are there in the state of Odisha out of the total  56 lakh cultivators. In 2011, Andhra Pradesh Assembly passed an act which assured the access of 0% interest on crop loans to the tenant farmers from banks, crop insurance and other agricultural subsidies.

Ramulu said that the involvement of tribal farmers was enormous. As the tribals usually work on small patches of lands but, in the areas like; Jayashankar bhoopalpalli, Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem, they leased the land this year.

“They had to opt for the private money lenders since they did not utilise bank loans, resulted in their misery of unable to payback their loan and also in price hikes and less production of crops.” Ramulu added.

The farmers leased lands and shifted their cultivation from cotton to chilli, as it fetched them a very good price, compared to cotton. The glut could not help them, because the middlemen working in the market yards fixed prices which fell from Rs.14,000 to Rs. 4,000 per quintal and lead to all kinds of problems in khammam for almost a month. The farmers had demanded a Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Rs 10,000 per quintal, but prices had dropped to Rs 3,000 per quintal, which angered them. The Chief Minister did not talk about it and neither did he visit the place.

HYDERABAD: A division bench of the Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday issued notices to the Telangana government to respond in a taken up PIL case seeking CBI probe into alleged irregularities in transfer of lands in Azamabad Industrial area of the city.

The bench of Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice T Rajani was dealing with the taken up PIL case based on a letter by C Kumar, TRS leader of the city, complaining that the lease holders in the industrial estate have been enjoying the lands without paying the lease fee. He also complained that the authorities of concerned department have been transferring these valuable lands in the name of lease holders.

Kumar, in his letter addressed to the Chief Justice, said that the government had earlier allotted 136 acres for the Azamabad Industrial Estate at Musheerabad area and the said land was illegally transferred to several individuals on lease basis to establish industries in the estate.

In fact, majority of the lease holders have not established their units in the estate and some of them who started their units in the estate were either closed or relocated to other places for various reasons, but the lands are still in the hands of the private individuals. Besides, most of them have even constructed the houses in the industrial estate, he pointed out. He urged the chief justice to order for a CBI probe into the matter. The bench issued notices to the government officials for filing counter.

హైదరాబాద్‌ మహా నగరంలోని చాలా డివిజన్‌లలో ఇప్పుడు కార్పొరేటర్లు అక్రమ వసూళ్లతో చెలరేగిపోతున్నారు. కొత్తగా భవన నిర్మాణం మొదలుపెడితే చాలు రూ.లక్ష నుంచి రూ.10 లక్షల వరకు కార్పొరేటర్‌కు సమర్పించుకోవాల్సిందే. ఓ కార్పొరేటర్‌ తన డివిజన్‌లో నిర్మాణదారుల దగ్గర నుంచి వసూళ్లు చేయడం కోసం అనుచరులకు ఏకంగా బుల్లెట్‌ మోటారుసైకిళ్లను కొని ఇచ్చారు. మరో కార్పొరేటర్‌ సమాచార హక్కు చట్టం కింద వివరాలు తీసుకుని, నిర్మాణదారుల్ని బెదిరించి వసూళ్లకు తెరలేపారు. స్థల వివాదాన్ని పరిష్కరించాలంటూ రెండువర్గాల వారు కార్పొరేటర్‌ను ఆశ్రయిస్తే.. సంబంధిత కార్పొరేటర్‌ ఆ ఇద్దరినీ కాదని ఆ స్థలాన్ని తానే సొంత చేసుకున్నారు. కొంతమంది కార్పొరేటర్ల అవినీతి విశ్వరూపానికి ఇవి మచ్చుతునకలు మాత్రమే. అక్రమాలకు దూరంగా ప్రజాసేవే పరమావధిగా పనిచేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేసీఆర్‌ అనేకమార్లు ఉద్బోధ చేస్తున్నా... కొందరు కార్పొరేటర్లు మాత్రం ధనార్జనే ధ్యేయంగా జనాన్ని వివిధ రూపాల్లో పీడించుకుతింటున్నారు. ఇలాంటి వారిపై ఇప్పుడు ప్రజల్లో తీవ్ర వ్యతిరేకత వ్యక్తమవుతోంది. ఈ ప్రభావం ప్రభుత్వంపై పడుతోందని సర్కారులోని కొందరు ఆందోళన వ్యక్తంచేస్తున్నారు.

అక్కడే మొదలు.. 

రాష్ట్ర రాజధాని నగర పరిధిలో చిన్నా పెద్దా కలిపి ఏటా దాదాపు 10 వేల నిర్మాణాలకు బల్దియా అనుమతి ఇస్తోంది. ఇదే సమయంలో మరో ఏడెనిమిది వేల నిర్మాణాలు అక్రమంగా జరుగుతుంటాయని అంచనా. బల్దియా దగ్గర అనుమతి తీసుకున్న మధ్యతరగతి వారు ప్లాన్‌కు కాస్త అటుఇటుగా నిర్మాణాలు చేస్తుంటారు. బిల్డర్లు పెద్దపెద్ద అపార్ట్‌మెంట్లను నిర్మిస్తుంటారు. గతంలో అయితే వీరు నిర్భయంగా నిర్మాణాల్ని పూర్తిచేసేవారు. కానీ ఇప్పుడు స్థానిక కార్పొరేటర్‌ నుంచి కొత్త ముప్పు వచ్చిపడింది. అతనికి లక్ష నుంచి రూ.10 లక్షల దాకా ముడుపులు సమర్పించుకుంటే కానీ నిర్మాణం ముందుకు కదలట్లేదు. జీహెచ్‌ఎంసీ గత పాలకవర్గంలో ప్రతి కార్పొరేటర్‌కు తమ డివిజన్‌లో అభివృద్ధి పనుల కోసం రూ.2 కోట్ల చొప్పున బడ్జెట్‌ విడుదల చేసేవారు. ఈ పాలకవర్గంలో ఈ నిధుల్ని మంజూరు చేయడం లేదు. అవి వచ్చి ఉంటే కార్పొరేటర్లకు అంతోఇంతో కమీషన్‌ కింద వచ్చేది. ఇప్పుడా నిధుల్లేకపోవడంతో పలువురు కార్పొరేటర్లు అక్రమ ఆదాయార్జనపై ఆధారపడ్డారు. ముఖ్యంగా భవన నిర్మాణదారులపై దృష్టిపెట్టారు. తమ డివిజన్‌లో నిర్మాణాలు ఎక్కడెక్కడ జరుగుతున్నాయో తెలుసుకోవడం కోసం కొందరు కార్పొరేటర్లు ఏకంగా నెలజీతం మీద ప్రైవేటు ఉద్యోగుల్ని ఏర్పాటుచేసుకున్నారు. కొందరు కార్పొరేటర్లు వీరికి నెల జీతం కింద రూ.2 లక్షల వరకూ ఇస్తున్నారని సమాచారం. వీరు ఒక విధంగా ప్రైవేటు సైన్యంగా వ్యవహరిస్తున్నారు. రోజూ డివిజన్‌ మొత్తం తిరిగి నిర్మాణాలపై కార్పొరేటర్లకు సమాచారం ఇవ్వడమే వీరు చేయాల్సిన పని. నిర్మాణం అక్రమమైతే తప్పకుండా మామూళ్లు ఇవ్వాల్సిందే. సక్రమ నిర్మాణమైనా సరే... ప్లాన్‌లో ఏదో ఒక అతిక్రమణ ఉందని చెప్పి.. నగర ప్రణాళికా అధికారుల ద్వారా నోటీసులు ఇప్పించి నిర్మాణాల్ని ఆపేయిస్తున్నారు.

‘రాబంధు’వులు! 

మహిళా కార్పొరేటర్లున్నచోట వారి భర్తలు, లేదా తండ్రులుగానీ బంధువులు గానీ కీలక భూమిక పోషిస్తున్నారు. ఈ దందాలు తమ దృష్టికి వచ్చినా ప్రభుత్వం కఠిన వైఖరిని అవలంబించడం లేదు. ఇదే ఆమోదం అన్నట్లుగా కార్పొరేటర్లు అక్రమ వసూళ్లలో రెచ్చిపోతున్నారు.

కిందిస్థాయి అధికారులే అండ 

చాలా చోట్ల కిందిస్థాయి ప్రణాళికా అధికారులు కార్పొరేటర్లకు తోడ్పాటు అందిస్తున్నారు. కార్పొరేటర్‌ వసూలు చేస్తున్న మొత్తంలో 15 శాతం వాటా వీరికి అందుతోందని చెబుతున్నారు. దీంతో ఈ అధికారులకు కార్పొరేటర్లు చెప్పిందే వేదం. అన్ని అనుమతులున్న ఇళ్ల నిర్మాణాలకూ కొర్రీలు వేస్తూ పైకం గుంజుతున్నారు.

దాడిచేసి కళ్లు పోగొట్టారు 

సీతాఫల్‌మండి కార్పొరేటర్‌ హేమ తరఫున అన్ని కార్యకలాపాల్ని తండ్రి కరాటే రాజు తెర వెనుక నుంచి చేస్తుంటారు. ఇక్కడి టీఆర్‌టీ క్వార్టర్లలో 40 ఏళ్లగా వీరాస్వామి అనే వ్యక్తి నివాసం ఉంటున్నారు. రెండు పోర్షన్ల నివాసంలో ఒకదాన్ని కార్పొరేటర్‌ బంధువులకు అయిదేళ్ల కిందట అద్దెకిచ్చారు. అందివచ్చిన అవకాశంగా భావించి ఈ ఇంటినే సొంతం చేసుకోవడానికి కార్పొరేటర్‌ తండ్రి అనుచరులు ప్రయత్నించారు. దీన్ని వీరాస్వామి ప్రతిఘటించడంతో అతనిపై దాడిచేశారు. వీరాస్వామికి ఒక కన్ను పూర్తిగా పోయింది. మరో కన్ను 80 శాతం మేర అంధత్వం ఏర్పడిందని వైద్యులు తెలిపారు. ఈ దాడి కార్పొరేటర్‌ తండ్రి ప్రమేయంతోనే జరిగిందంటూ పోలీసులకు బాధితుడు ఫిర్యాదుచేశారు. రాజుతోపాటు మరికొంతమందిని పోలీసులు అరెస్టుచేశారు. ఈ ఘటనపై పెద్దఎత్తున ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తమైంది.

ఫుట్‌పాత్‌ వ్యాపారులూ సమర్పించుకోవాల్సిందే 

సికింద్రాబాద్‌ ప్రాంతంలో మరో ప్రతినిధి భర్త సరికొత్త రీతిలో దందా మొదలుపెట్టారు. మోండా మార్కెట్‌ ప్రాంతంలోని పాలికాబజార్‌లో ఇటీవల రోడ్లపై ఉన్న ఆక్రమణలను తొలగించారు. దీన్ని ఆ ప్రతినిధి భర్త చక్కగా ఉపయోగించుకున్నారు. పోలీసులతో మాట్లాడి తొలగించిన కొన్ని దుకాణాల్ని మళ్లీ ఏర్పాటు చేసుకోవడానికి అనుమతి పొందారు. ఇక్కడ ఒక్కో దుకాణాన్ని తిరిగి ఏర్పాటుచేయడం కోసం రూ.50 వేల వంతున వసూలుచేశారు. కొన్ని దుకాణాల్ని రోజూ వారీ అద్దె కింద కొందరికి కట్టబెట్టారు.

రూ.10 లక్షలు ఇస్తారా చస్తారా... 

 

 

దిల్‌సుఖ్‌నగర్‌కు దగ్గర్లోని హనుమాన్‌ కాలనీలో విక్రాంత్‌ అనే వ్యక్తికి 900 గజాల స్థలం ఉంది. అందులో తన ముగ్గురు సోదరీమణులకు మూడు ఇళ్ల నిర్మాణాల్ని మొదలుపెట్టారు. చైతన్యపురి కార్పొరేటర్‌ జి.విఠల్‌రెడ్డి దృష్టి ఈ నిర్మాణ పనులపై పడింది. నిర్మాణం మొదలుపెట్టారు కాబట్టి తన మామూలు కింద రూ.10 లక్షలివ్వాలని కార్పొరేటర్‌ డిమాండ్‌ చేసినట్లు విక్రాంత్‌ తెలిపారు. డబ్బు ఇవ్వడానికి నిరాకరించడంతో నెలన్నర రోజుల కిందట కార్పొరేటర్‌ స్వయంగా రంగంలోకి దిగి నిర్మాణ స్థలంలో పనిచేస్తున్న కూలీలపై రాళ్ల దాడితో వీరంగం చేశాడు. తనపై కూడా దాడికి ప్రయత్నించారంటూ విక్రాంత్‌ పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదుచేసినా ఇంతవరకు చర్యలు తీసుకోలేదు. పైపెచ్చు కార్పొరేటర్‌ ఇచ్చిన ఫిర్యాదు మేరకు నిర్మాణదారునిపై కూడా కేసు నమోదుచేశారు.

నాలాల పక్కన నిర్మాణాలకూ... 

అల్విన్‌కాలనీ ప్రాంతంలోని ప్రజాప్రతినిధి కుమారుడు సరికొత్త రీతిలో అక్రమాలకు పాల్పడుతున్నాడు. కూకట్‌పల్లి నాలాకు కాస్త దూరంలో స్థలాలు ఉన్నాయి. 50 ఏళ్ల నుంచి పేదలు ఇందులో గుడిసెలు వేసుకుని నివాసం ఉంటున్నారు. ఇప్పుడు కాస్త ఆర్థికంగా నిలదొక్కుకుని ఇందులో నిర్మాణాలు మొదలుపెడుతున్నారు. సరిగ్గా ఇక్కడే... ప్రజాప్రతినిధి కుమారుడు రంగప్రవేశం చేసి ప్రతి నిర్మాణానికి రూ.3 లక్షల వరకు వసూళ్లు చేస్తున్నాడు. లేని పక్షంలో సంబంధిత నిర్మాణ పనులు ఆగిపోయేలా చేస్తున్నాడు. మరికొందరి దగ్గర నాలాకు ఆనుకుని కూడా నిర్మాణాలకు జీహెచ్‌ఎంసీ నుంచి అనుమతి ఇప్పిస్తామంటూ రూ.5 లక్షలు, ఆపైన వసూలుచేస్తున్నాడు.

ప్రతి నిర్మాణానికీ ఒక రేటు 

హైదర్‌నగర్‌ ప్రాంతంలో ఓ ప్రతినిధి ఒక్కో నిర్మాణానికి ఒక్కో రేటు పెట్టాడు. పెద్ద ఇంటికైతే రూ.3 లక్షలు, అపార్టుమెంట్‌కైతే ప్రతి అంతస్థుకు రూ.2 లక్షల చొప్పున వసూలు చేస్తున్నాడు. అభివృద్ధి పనులు జరిగితే అందులో మూడు శాతం తన కమీషన్‌ కింద వసూలు చేస్తున్నాడు. లేని పక్షంలో అతని మనుషులొచ్చి రకరకాలుగా ఇబ్బందిపెడుతున్నారు.

నీటి ట్యాంకర్‌దారుల నుంచి వసూళ్లు 

ఫతేనగర్‌ ప్రాంతంలోని మరో ప్రతినిధి ఏకంగా ప్రైవేటు నీటి ట్యాంకర్ల నుంచి భారీగా వసూళ్లు చేస్తున్నాడు. ఈ ప్రాంతంలో ప్రైవేటు ట్యాంకర్లు అధికంగా ఉన్నాయి. కార్పొరేటర్‌కు ప్రతి ట్యాంకర్‌దారు నెలవారీ మామూళ్లు ఇవ్వాల్సిందే. లేని పక్షంలో ఈ ట్యాంకర్‌ ముందుకు కదలదంతే. ఈ ప్రాంతంలోని పరిశ్రమల్లో ఏదైనా ప్రమాదకర ఘటన జరిగితే ఆ ప్రతినిధి పండగ చేసుకుంటారని, పరిశ్రమదారు భారీగా డబ్బు ముట్టజెప్పాల్సిందేనని స్థానికులు చెబుతున్నారు.

అనుచరులకు బుల్లెట్‌ వాహనాలు కొనిచ్చి... 

ఉప్పల్‌ ప్రాంతంలో మరో కార్పొరేటర్‌ నెలావారీ జీతం కింద ముగ్గురు అనుచరుల్ని పెట్టుకున్నారు. వారికి మూడు బుల్లెట్‌ మెటారుసైకిళ్లను కొనిచ్చారు. ఈ ముగ్గురూ ఆ వాహనాలపై డివిజన్‌ ఆ చివరి నుంచి ఈ చివరి వరకు తిరుగుతారు. నిర్మాణం జరిగే చోటికి బుల్లెట్‌ వెళ్లి ఆగుతుంది. వెంటనే నిర్మాణదారుడు కార్పొరేటర్‌ దగ్గరకు వెళ్లి మాట్లాడుకోవాలి, లేని పక్షంలో ఆ నిర్మాణం ఆగిపోతుంది. సెల్లార్‌కు రూ.లక్ష, ఫ్లోర్‌కు రూ.లక్ష, పెంట్‌ హౌస్‌కు రూ55 వేలు.. అక్కడ రేట్లు ఇవీ. అక్రమమైనా సక్రమమైనా ఈ రేట్లు చెల్లించాల్సిందే.

ఆర్టీఏ వివరాలే వసూళ్లకు ఆధారం! 

ఖైరతాబాద్‌ ప్రాంతంలోని కొన్ని డివిజన్ల కార్పొరేటర్లు వసూళ్లలో కొత్త పంథాను అవలంభిస్తున్నారు. ఖైరతాబాద్‌ ప్రాంతంలో మాజీ కార్పొరేటర్‌ ఒకరు సొంత భవన నిర్మాణాన్ని మొదలుపెట్టారు. ఈ ప్రాంత కార్పొరేటర్‌ ఒకరు దీన్ని అడ్డుకున్నారు. ఇద్దరి మధ్య వాగ్వివాదం జరిగింది. ఇద్దరికీ పలుకుబడి ఉండటంతో.. ప్రస్తుత కార్పొరేటర్‌ కొత్త ఎత్తుగడ వేశారు. సమాచార హక్కు చట్టం కింద సంబంధిత భవన నిర్మాణ వివరాలను ఇవ్వాలంటూ జీహెచ్‌ఎంసీకి దరఖాస్తు చేశారు. ఆ భవనానికి అనుమతే లేదంటూ అక్కడ్నుంచి సమాధానం రావడంతో.. దీని ఆధారంగా సంబంధిత కార్పొరేటర్‌ కోర్టులో కేసువేసి నిర్మాణాన్ని ఆపించారు. దీంతో మాజీ కార్పొరేటర్‌ కాళ్లబేరానికి వచ్చారు. ఇవ్వాల్సింది ఇచ్చుకుని.. నిర్మాణం పూర్తిచేశారు.

న్యాయం కోసం ఆశ్రయిస్తే.... 

బేగంపేట ప్రాంతంలో రూ.కోటి విలువైన 450 గజాల స్థలం విషయంలో ఇద్దరి మధ్య వివాదం రగిలింది. దీనిపై ఈ ప్రాంతంలోని కార్పొరేటర్‌ సమీప బంధువును ఆ ఇద్దరూ ఆశ్రయించారు. కార్పొరేటర్‌ తరువాత కీలక చక్రంతిప్పే ఈ నేత ఇద్దరితోనూ మాట్లాడారు. అందులో ఒకరిని తమవైపు తిప్పుకున్నారు. ఈ స్థలాన్ని తన అనుచరుని పేరుతో రిజిస్ట్రేషన్‌ చేయించారు. నోరులేని మరోవ్యక్తి ఈ స్థలం తనదైనా కూడా నిరూపించలేని స్థితిలో ఆవేదన చెందుతున్నాడు.

తెలంగాణ పబ్లిక్ సర్వీసు కమిషన్ తాజాగా గురుకుల నోటిఫికేషన్లు రద్ద చేస్తున్నట్లు ప్రకటించింది. గురుకులాల్లో సుమారు 7వేల పోస్టుల భర్తీ కోసం ఫిబ్రవరి 6వ తేదీన 9 నోటిఫికేషన్లు విడుదల చేసింది టిఎస్పిఎస్సీ. కానీ ♦తలా తోక లేకుండా నిబంధనలు ఉండడంతో ఈ నోటిఫికేషన్లు న్యాయస్థానాల్లో నిలువలేకపోయాయి. దీంతో అంతిమంగా నోటిఫికేషన్ల రద్దు ఉత్తమమని సర్వీస్ కమిషన్ ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. దీంతో వేలాది మంది అభ్యర్థులు 
‍♂లబోదిబోమంటున్నారు.

నిబంధనల్లో సవరణలు చేయాల్సి ఉండడంతో నోటిఫికేషన్లు రద్దు చేస్తున్నట్లు టిఎస్సిపఎస్సీ ప్రకటించింది. గురుకుల నియామకాల విషయంలో ఆదినుంచీ వివాదాలు చోటుచేసుకున్నాయి. సిలబస్ తయారీ నుంచి అర్హతల వరకు అన్నింటిలోనూ వివాదాలు చుట్టుముట్టాయి. నోటిఫికేషన్ కూడా కోర్టులో నిలవలేకపోయింది. ఈ నోటిఫికేషన్ లో లింగ వివక్ష చూపారంటూ కొందరు నిరుద్యోగులు హైకోర్టుకు వెళ్లడంతో తాత్కాలిక స్టే ఇచ్చింది హైకోర్టు.

కానీ అనూహ్యంగా కోర్టులో సర్కారు వాదన నిలబడదన్న ఆందోళనతో అంతిమంగా నోటిఫికేషన్ల రద్దుకు నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది టిఎస్ పిఎస్సీ. ఇప్పటికే నోటిఫికేషన్ ఇచ్చి ప్రిలిమ్స్ పరీక్ష జరిపింది సర్వీసు కమిషన్. కానీ కొందరు అభ్యర్థులు మెయిన్స్ కూడా రాశారు. కానీ వారందరికీ చేదు వార్తను మిగులుస్తూ కమిషన్ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది.

మరో వారం పది రోజుల్లోనే కొత్త నోటిఫికేషన్ వెలువరించనున్నట్లు కమిషన్ వర్గాలు చెబుతున్నాయి. మొత్తానికి తెలంగాణ పబ్లిక్ సర్వీసు కమిషన్ ఈ చర్య ద్వారా మరో తప్పటడుగు వేసిందన్న భావన నిరుద్యోగ వర్గాల్లో నెలకొంది. ఊరించి ఊరించి ఉసూరుమనిపించారని నిరుద్యోగులు ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. వేలాది రూపాయలు ఖర్చు చేసి కోచింగ్ తీసుకుని తీరా పరీక్షకు ప్రిపేర్ అయితే చివరి నిమిషంలో రద్దు నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవడం పట్ల విస్మయం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు.

With no money in coffers, Telangana financial health critical

 

Of the Rs 350 crore allotted for the Musi river development, the government has not released any funds.

 

Hyderabad: The TS government is facing a deep financial crunch and it is not in a position to release funds to various departments and welfare schemes as per the allotment made in the budget. Majority of the state’s revenue goes towards salaries, pensions, interest payments and subsidies.

 

The state government is diverting funds from other places, including about Rs 1,000 crore given to Centrally-sponsored schemes and UDAY bonds funds of about Rs 1,423 crore.

 

In the Budget, the state government had allotted Rs 1,000 crore to Most Backward Classes but even after three months no money has been released. Out of the Rs 100 crore assured for the Brahmin community welfare, the government has released Rs 10 crore for the construction of the Brahmin Samkshema Parishad office building. Orders have been issued to release Rs 25 crore but money has not been released. Despite issuing Budget release orders, the finance department is not releasing funds.

Of the Rs 350 crore allotted for the Musi river development, the government has not released any funds. No money has been released of the Rs 500 crore allotted to the washermen and Nayi Brahmin community.

 

On average, the state government is getting about Rs 7,000 crore per month through state tax and non-tax revenues and grants from the Centre. More than half of this goes towards salaries and for other expenses.

 

The state government is left with Rs 800 crore, and borrows about Rs 2,000 crore on average from the market. This leaves it with only Rs 2,800 crore to meet other expenses. Sources in finance department said that according to Budget allocations the state government requires about Rs 3,000 crore per month.

Pending bills are mounting. The government has not cleared bills from the previous financial year, and the pending amount has reached Rs 8,000 crore.

 

Except some “important” bills, the state government is not paying any others in any department. For Mission Bhagiratha, the government is borrowing outside the Budget and contractors have no problem in getting the bills cleared. Many contractors handling work in other departments which are being funded through budgetary allocations are making the rounds of the Secretariat every day in hope of receiving some payments.

కుళ్లిన మాంసంతో వంట నూనెలు.. చెడిపోయిన వెల్లుల్లి, అల్లంతో మిశ్రమం... బూజుపట్టిన వక్కలతో గుట్కాలు.. ఇలా ఒక్కటేమిటి దాదాపు 50కి పైగా వినియోగ వస్తువులు కల్తీ అవుతున్నాయి. రాష్ట్ర రాజధాని శివారు కాటేదాన్‌ కేంద్రంగా కల్తీ భూతం చెలరేగిపోతోంది. కుళ్లిన, నాసిరకం ముడి పదార్థాలతో తయారుచేసిన ఈ వస్తువులు తక్కువ ధరకు దొరుకుతున్నాయి కదా అని కొనుగోలుచేసి వాడిన వారు అనారోగ్యానికి గురై ఆసుపత్రుల పాలవుతున్నారు. ఈ నేరానికి పాల్పడుతున్న వారు మాత్రం లక్షలు, కోట్లకు పడగలెత్తుతున్నారు. ఈ కల్తీ ఘోరాల గురించి తెలిసినా.. కొందరు పోలీసులు, అధికారులు లంచాలు అందుకుని.. చూసీచూడనట్లు వ్యవహరిస్తున్నారు. ఈ కల్తీముఠాల దురాగతాలపై ‘ఈనాడు’ అందిస్తున్న ప్రత్యేక కథనం.

రాష్ట్ర రాజధాని శివార్లలోని కాటేదాన్‌ ప్రాంతంలో కల్తీ వస్తువుల తయారీ యథేచ్ఛగా సాగుతోంది. అల్లం వెల్లుల్లి మిశ్రమం దగ్గర్నుంచి, నూనెలు, గుట్కాలు... ఇలా రకరకాల వాటి తయారీలో పెద్దఎత్తున కల్తీలకు పాల్పడుతున్నారు. వాటిని సులభంగా మార్కెట్లో విక్రయిస్తున్నారు. కాటేదాన్‌, మరికొన్ని ప్రాంతాల్లో ఏటా దాదాపు రూ.300 కోట్ల విలువైన నకిలీ వస్తువులు తయారవుతున్నాయని తెలిసింది. కాటేదాన్‌ పారిశ్రామిక వాడ ప్రాంతంలో ‘ఈనాడు-ఈటీవీ’ ప్రతినిధులు పర్యటించినపుడు దిమ్మదిరిగే వాస్తవాలు వెలుగుచూశాయి.

రంగారెడ్డి జిల్లా రాజేంద్రనగర్‌ మండలం కాటేదాన్‌ పారిశ్రామివాడలో 1050 పరిశ్రమల ఏర్పాటుకు ప్రభుత్వం గతంలో తోడ్పాటు అందించింది. వివిధ రకాల కారణాల వల్ల గత పదేళ్లగా ఇక్కడ 150 పరిశ్రమలు తప్ప మిగతావన్నీ మూతపడ్డాయి. ఇలా మూతపడిన దాదాపు 750 పరిశ్రమలు ఇప్పుడు కల్తీలకు అడ్డాగా మారాయి. కొందరు వ్యక్తులు ఏదో ఒక చిన్న పరిశ్రమ ఏర్పాటుకు అధికారుల నుంచి అనుమతి తెచ్చుకుని అక్కడ వివిధ రకాల నకిలీ వినియోగ వస్తువుల్ని తయారు చేస్తున్నారు. వీటి తయారీ చాలా సులభంగా మారింది. రూ.10 లక్షల పెట్టుబడితో వ్యాపారం మొదలుపెడితే నెలకు రూ.30 లక్షల నుంచి రూ.50 లక్షల వరకు లాభాలొస్తున్నాయని కొందరు చెబుతున్నారు. దీంతో ఈ వ్యాపారంపై అనేకమంది దృష్టిసారించారు.

కాటేదాన్‌ పరిశ్రమల్లో పని చేయడం కోసం పదేళ్ల కిందటే బిహార్‌, జార్ఖండ్‌ తదితర రాష్ట్రాల నుంచి పలువురు వచ్చి ఇక్కడ స్థిరపడ్డారు. అనేక పరిశ్రమలు మూతపడటంతో వీరిలో వందల మంది నకిలీ వినియోగ వస్తువుల తయారీలో భాగమయ్యారు. పొట్టకూటి కోసం వచ్చిన ఈ బడుగుల్ని ఈ ఘోరకృత్యంలో భాగస్వాముల్ని చేస్తున్నారు. ఈ రెండు రాష్ట్రాల వారే కాకుండా పాతబస్తీలోని ఓ వర్గం వారిని హైదరాబాద్‌ బేగంబజార్‌, సికింద్రాబాద్‌, పాతబస్తీలోని కొందరు బడా వ్యాపారులు ప్రోత్సహిస్తున్నారు. రూ.లక్షల్లోనే పెట్టుబడిగా పెట్టి నమ్మకమైన వీరితో నకిలీ వస్తువుల్ని తయారు చేయిస్తున్నారు. వాటిని తమ వ్యాపార కేంద్రాలకు తెప్పించుకుని నాణ్యమైన వస్తువుల్లో వీటిని 25 శాతం వరకు కలిపి విక్రయిస్తున్నారు. భారీగా ఆర్జిస్తున్నారు. తమ దందాకు అడ్డు రాకుండా ఉండడం కోసం పోలీసులు, ఇతర అధికారులకు పెద్దఎత్తున లంచాలు ముట్టజెపుతున్నారు.

 

మాంసం నుంచి తైలం! 

 

 

రాజేంద్రనగర్‌ మండల పరిధిలో దాదాపు 70 వరకు నకిలీ వంటనూనెల కార్ఖానాలున్నాయని చెబుతున్నారు. నగర పరిధిలోని జంతువధశాలల్లో అమ్మకం చేయగా.. మిగిలిన కుళ్లిన పేగులు, బొమికలు ఇతర అవయవాల్ని తెచ్చి నకిలీ వంటనూనెల తయారీకి వినియోగిస్తున్నారు. జల్‌పల్లి పరిధిలోని వాజిద్‌-ఎ-హదీస్‌ ప్రాంతంలో ‘ఈనాడు-ఈటీవీ’ ప్రతినిధులు పర్యటించినపుడు అక్కడ అనేక నకిలీ నూనె తయారీ కేంద్రాలు కనిపించాయి. ఒకచోట నివాస గృహాలకు దగ్గర్లోనే ఓ కేంద్రంలో దాదాపు 4 వేల కేజీల జంతు వ్యర్థాలు కనిపించాయి. కుళ్లిన పేగుల మధ్య నుంచి తెల్లటి పురుగులు బయటకు వస్తున్నాయి. అయిదు నిముషాలు కూడా అక్కడ ఉండలేక వాంతులు చేసుకునే పరిస్థితి. ఈ తంతు ఇంత పెద్దఎత్తున జరుగుతున్నా.. పోలీసులు, లేదా ఇతర అధికారులెవ్వరూ ఇటువైపు తీవ్రంగా దృష్టిసారించిన దాఖలాల్లేవు.

 

మాంసంతో నూనె తయారీ 

 

రాష్ట్ర రాజధానిలోని చెంగిచర్ల ప్రాంతంలో అధికారిక జంతువధ కేంద్రం ఉండగా.. మరో 20 చోట్ల అనధికారికంగా జంతువుల్ని వధిస్తున్నారు. నకిలీ నూనె తయారీదారులు ఇక్కడికి వెళ్లి.. విక్రయించగా మిగిలిన కళేబరాల్లోని బొమికలు, పేగులు ఇతరత్రా భాగాల్ని తెస్తున్నారు. దీనికి నామమాత్రంగా చెల్లింపులు చేస్తున్నారు. ఇలా వచ్చిన జంతువుల అవయవాలన్నింటినీ పెద్ద ఇనుప మూకుడులో వేసి కింద కొన్ని గంటలపాటు పెద్దగా మంటపెడతారు. ఇదంతా కొవ్వుగా మారిపోతుంది. దీన్ని చల్లబరిచి మరోసారి కొవ్వును వేడిచేస్తే ఇది నూనెగా మారుతుంది. ఇలా తయారైన నూనెను నాణ్యమైన నూనెలో కొంతమేర, అలాగే కొవ్వులాంటి భాగాన్ని వనస్పతిలో కలుపుతున్నారు. వాటిని బయటికి తరలించి విక్రయిస్తున్నారు.

 

పత్తిగింజలతో తయారీ ఇలా.. 

 

తక్కువ ధరకు వచ్చే పత్తి గింజల్ని తెచ్చి నూనె తయారీకి వాడుతున్నారు. ఈ నూనెను ఆడటానికి ప్రత్యేకంగా యంత్రాల్ని కూడా కొనుగోలు చేశారు. ఇలా తయారుచేసిన 75 శాతం పత్తి నూనెలో, 25 శాతం పామాయిల్‌ను మిక్స్‌ చేస్తున్నారు. సన్‌ప్లవర్‌ ఆయిల్‌ వాసన రావడం కోసం కొన్ని రసాయనాల్ని కలుపుతున్నారు. తయారైన నూనెను డబ్బాలో పట్టి పేరొందిన నూనె కంపెనీల లేబుల్స్‌ను వేస్తున్నారు. ఇది కొవ్వును నిరోధించే నూనె అంటూ లేబుల్స్‌లో రాయించి మరీ కొంతమంది హోల్‌సేల్‌ డీలర్లకు విక్రయిస్తున్నారు.

 

అల్లం, వెల్లుల్లి మిశ్రమం ఇలా... 

 

 

నగరంలో ఉన్న ప్రధాన హోల్‌సేల్‌ మార్కెట్లు, రైతు బజార్ల దగ్గర పెద్దఎత్తున కుళ్లిపోయిన ఆలుగడ్డలు, అల్లాన్ని తెస్తున్నారు. కుళ్లిన స్థితిలో ఉండే ఈ రెండు వస్తువులు అన్ని మార్కెట్ల దగ్గర టన్నుల్లోనే ఉంటోంది. వీటిని తెచ్చి కొద్దిగా ఎండబెట్టి ఒకరకమైన యాసిడ్‌తో కడుగుతున్నారు. వీటితోపాటు పాడైన వెల్లుల్లిని కూడా కొనుగోలు చేస్తున్నారు. దీంతోపాటు అరటిగెల కాండంపై తొక్కను తొలగించి లోపలి భాగాన్ని వెల్లుల్లి, అల్లం, ఆలుగడ్డలతో కలిపి.. ప్రత్యేకంగా తయారు చేయించిన మిషన్‌లో వేసి రుబ్బుతున్నారు. కుళ్లిన వాసన పోవడానికి కొన్ని రకాల రసాయనాల్ని జతచేస్తున్నారు. కొన్ని రకాల ఫ్లేవర్లు కలిపి అల్లం, వెల్లుల్లి మిశ్రమంగా మారుసున్నారు. దీన్ని కేజీ, రెండు, మూడు కేజీల డబ్బాల్లోకి పట్టించి నగరంలోని అన్ని ప్రధాన మార్కెట్‌లకు తరలిస్తున్నారు.

 

ధ¹నియాలు, మిరియాలు, జీలకర్ర ఇలా... 

 

 

చెడిపోయిన బియ్యం పిండిని హోల్‌సేల్‌ మార్కెట్‌ నుంచి కొనుగోలు చేస్తున్నారు. దీన్ని నీటితో కలిపి కొన్ని రకాల రసాయనాల్ని జతచేస్తున్నారు. వివిధ ఆకారాల్లో తయారు చేసిన జాలీలపై ఈ పిండినివేస్తే మిరియాలు, ధనియాలు, జీలకర్ర ఆకారంలో వస్తున్నాయి. వాటిని ఎండబెట్టిన తర్వాత ఇంజిన్‌ ఆయిల్‌ను అద్ది సంబంధిత వస్తువులని భ్రమించేలా కొన్ని రకాల రంగుల్ని వాడుతున్నారు. నాణ్యమైన ధనియాలు, మిరియాలు, జీలకర్ర వంద కేజీల బస్తాలో 10 కేజీలు ఆపైన వీటిని కలుపుతున్నారని స్థానికులు చెబుతున్నారు.

 

ఆవకాయ, నిమ్మకాయ పచ్చళ్లు ఇలా... 

 

 

సీజన్‌లో ప్రధాన మార్కెట్లలో పూర్తిగా చెడిపోయిన మామిడి, నిమ్మకాయల్ని కొనుగోలు చేస్తున్నారు. వీటిని ముక్కలుగా చేసి ఉప్పునీటితో కలిపేస్తున్నారు. నకిలీ కారాన్ని జతచేస్తున్నారు. పశువుల కొవ్వుతో తయారు చేసిన నూనెను వాడుతున్నారు. ఆవకాయలో ఎర్రరంగు రావడం కోసం ఒకరకమైన రసాయనాన్ని వాడుతున్నారు. దీంతో అది నోరూరించేలా మాంచి ఎరుపురంగు వస్తుంది. దీన్ని వంద గ్రాముల నుంచి కేజీ వరకు ప్యాకెట్లుగా తయారుచేసి మార్కెట్లోకి తరలిస్తున్నారు. కుళ్లిపోయి బూజుపట్టిన దాదాపు వంద కేజీల ఆవకాయ, నిమ్మకాయ పచ్చడిని రెండు రోజుల కిందట పోలీసులు పట్టుకున్నారు.

 

 

ఆ గుట్కా తింటే గుటుక్కు...! 

 

బూజుపట్టి చెడిపోయిన వక్కల్ని సేకరిస్తున్నారు. దీనికి మెగ్నీషియం కార్బొనేట్‌ను కలిపి ఆడిస్తున్నారు. ఇలా వచ్చిన పిండిలో జర్దా ఫ్లేవర్లు కలుపుతున్నారు. ఇలా తయారైన గుట్కాను కొన్ని కంపెనీల పేరుతో నాణ్యమైన ప్యాకెట్లలోకి మార్చి మార్కెట్లోకి తరలిస్తున్నారు.

 

భారీగా లంచాలు

కాటేదాన్‌ పారిశ్రామిక వాడలో ఏ మూతపడిన పరిశ్రమలో నకిలీ వస్తువులు తయారవుతున్నాయో పోలీసులకు తెలుసు. వాటిపై తాత్కాలికంగా దాడులు చేయడం తప్ప శాశ్వత నిరోధానికి ప్రయత్నాలు చేయట్లేదు. ఈ మధ్య ఇద్దరు ఎస్‌ఐలు కొన్ని పరిశ్రమల తనిఖీలకు వెళితే అక్కడి నకిలీల తయారీదారు ఒకరు ‘‘మీరు వచ్చారేంటి? మీ పై అధికారులకు మామూళ్లు ఇచ్చేశాను కదా... మీరేం తనిఖీ చేస్తారు?’ అని ప్రశ్నించినట్లు తెలిసింది. దీన్నిబట్టి చూస్తే పరిస్థితి ఎంత దారుణంగా ఉందో ఇట్టే అర్థమవుతుంది. అక్రమార్కుల్ని పట్టుకోవడానికి ఏర్పాటైన స్పెషల్‌ ఆపరేషన్‌ టీం(ఎస్వోటీ) సభ్యుల్లో కూడా ఒకరిద్దరు ఈ అక్రమార్కులకు తోడ్పాటు అందిస్తున్నట్లు తెలిసింది. కల్తీ రాయుళ్లపై కఠినంగా వ్యహరించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేసీఆర్‌ ఆదేశించడంతో.. సైబరాబాద్‌ పోలీసు కమిషనర్‌ సందీప్‌ శాండిల్య తన కింది అధికారులకు ఆదేశాలు జారీచేస్తున్నారు. కిందిస్థాయి వారు అప్పుడప్పుడు దాడులుచేసి తాము పని చేస్తున్నామని చెప్పుకోవడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నారు.

 

ఆహార కల్తీ నిరోధక శాఖ ఏమైనట్లు?

ఆహార వస్తువుల కల్తీ నిరోధక శాఖ కళ్లు మూసుకుని కూర్చోవడం నకిలీ తయారీదారులకు వరంగా మారింది. ఈ శాఖ అధికారులు పోలీసులతో సమన్వయం చేసుకుని దాడులు మమ్మురంచేస్తే చాలా వరకు ఫలితం ఉండేది. ఇప్పటివరకు ఈ శాఖ దీనిపై పూర్తిస్థాయిలో దృష్టిసారించడం లేదు.

 

తయారైన వస్తువులు ఎక్కడికి వెళుతున్నాయి?

 

కాటేదాన్‌ పారిశ్రామిక వాడ, దాని చుట్టుపక్కల ప్రాంతాల్లో తయారవుతున్న అనేక వస్తువులు బేగంబజార్‌, సికింద్రాబాద్‌, పాతబస్తీలోని యాకుత్‌పురా, డబ్బీర్‌పురా తదితర ప్రాంతాలకు చేరుతున్నాయి. అక్కడ్నుంచి వ్యాపారులు కొందరు తాము హోల్‌సేల్‌గా అమ్మే కొన్ని వస్తువుల్లో వీటిని కలుపుతున్నారు. 100 కేజీల వస్తువుల్లో 25 కేజీల వరకు కలపడం వల్ల సంబంధిత వస్తువుల నాణ్యతపై పెద్దగా ప్రభావం పడటంలేదు. దీనివల్ల వారికి భారీగా లాభాలొస్తున్నాయి. జంతు కళేబరాలతో తయారైన నూనెను మాత్రం నగరంలోని రోడ్లపక్కన షాపుల వారికి తక్కువ ధరకు విక్రయిస్తున్నారు.
