NTR_ONE Posted February 9, 2010 Share Posted February 9, 2010 The High Court today gave a shocker to the state government by putting a break to the 4% reservations to Muslims. CM Rosaiah assured the Muslims that he will take the necessary steps on behalf of government to appeal in the Supreme court regarding the Muslim reservations. Kadapa MP YS Jagan came to the picture and assured the Muslims that he will fight for their reservations in Parliament. If the reservations get legal obstacles, he will speak with Sonia Gandhi and other senior leaders and work for the amendment of the constitution to give reservations to Muslims. Indian constitution stands for secularism which means reservations based on religion will not be provided.
