Music: Taman

Release date: 23 October 2009

Kalyan Ram comes up with another film after Athanokkade and Hare Ram. The new film Jayeebhava is a neat and clean entertainer even though the story is old and clichéd.

Story:

Bhavani Shankar (Mueksh Rushi) and Narasimha (Jayaprakash Reddy) are good friends. They both work in a factory. A wicked man Yaadu (Ahsish Vidyarthi) who also works in the same factory manages to break their friendship and they now become sworn enemies.

Bhavani and Narasimha run their own little empires in the city. Ram (Kalyan Ram) is pursuing his studies abroad. He is the son of Bhavani. Ram’s father does not want him to enter the murky world of gang rivalry and hence has sent him away abroad.

Ram however returns home and starts taking on Narasimha. Bhavani does not like this and he asks Ram to abroad again. Ram agrees but he goes to Hong Kong

without the knowledge of his father and takes on Yaadu and manages to ruin his empire and get him jailed. While in Hong Kong Ram comes across Anjali (Hansika Motwani) and the two fall in love.

Ram comes back on the insistence of his father and starts his own business. Ram learns that Anjali is none other than Narasimha’s daughter. He now sets out to win over the confidence of Narasimha without revealing his identity and finally manages to unite the two old friends and then marry Anjali.

Performance:

Kalyan Ram comes up with a good performance. He shows great ease in the dance and fight scenes. He has improved a lot from his previous films and his efforts this time should yield him good results at the box office.

Hansika Motwani plays a hot and glamorous heroine to perfection. She is still as cute as she was in Desamuduru and she gives good company to the hero. Jayaprakash Reddy comes up with a restrained but effective performance. Mukesh Rushi who is known to play baddie in film after film for a change plays a good man.

Ashish Vidyarthi plays another routine role of villain. Brahmanandam and Ali manage to raise some laughs. Raghu Babu, Venu Madhav, Prema and others are okay.

Jayeebhava is a film with a decent mix of love, action, drama and family sentiment. The film has no excessive violence and no double meaning dialogues.

The film makes for a decent one time watch.
