On the contrary in my Fathers Generation all of the reddy's, men had the tag but not the women, cut short, all of my friends kids , Girls and boys has the Tag, peru adgagaane mari REDDY ani nokki chebutunnaru Kotha ga inkokati udbhavinchi yedgutundhi ROYALS anta....... Communist party peak lo unnappudu in AP, there are few communist leaders who removed their caste tags in names. There are Reddys, Chowdary’s, Brahmins etc in this list. Taking them as inspiration few sections of the societies left their caste names (Chowdary, Sharma, Sastry, Varma etc.,) Reddys didn’t follow this sincerely ani naa feeling…..
