Rabada to Pujara, no run, nearly opens Pujara up. Angled in to middle, Pujara's body is opened slightly as he tries to defend. Yet another edge, and again Elgar prevents Pujara from getting off the mark. Elgar dives across from gully and stops the edge which rolled wide of him. Good ball and soft hands from Pujara though he didn't know much about that one

Lungi Ngidi to Pujara, no run, mid-on does well. Morkel I think it is. Flicked by Pujara and Morkel dives to his right to stop. Still Pujara is on 0

Lungi Ngidi to Pujara, no run, 50 for Pujara. Dots that is. Full outside off, Pujara dead-bats from the crease. Ironic cheers again

Rabada to Kohli, no run, oh! My! Rabada is livid. Philander very slow to get across and drops a sitter at mid-off. The Proteas can't believe it. The short ball and Kohli is miles late on that, beaten for sheer pace and straight off the toe end, lobs to mid-off where Philander completely misjudges the flight and it falls to ground. Not sure whether he got a hand on it in the end. A real clanger!

Abhijeet Shivam says: "Vijay 's form is a reason to get worried. Not only it is about low scores but how poor his dismissals were. He's shuffling a lot and is poking at deliveries outside 5th stump, something he used to leave day in and out on previous SENA tours" -- Yeah, Vijay was India's best Test batsman on the last overseas stretch

Morne Morkel to Rahane, out Lbw!! This could have gone either way and it has gone in favour of South Africa. Kohli is bemused in the dressing room, but there is not much he can do. This was very similar to one Pujara survived in the morning session, umpire Ian Gould gave that not out and this time he raised his finger. Both were clipping the leg-stump. Slanted in from a good length and Rahane is beaten on the flick, rapped in front of leg-stump. Gould gave it a long thought before giving it out. Rahane decided to take his chance and review it, but HawkEye had it kissing the leg-pole, matter of centimeters. The movement after missing the ball might have been his undoing, Rahane moved across his stumps and that went against him. Rahane lbw b Morne Morkel 9(27) [4s-1]

Morne Morkel to Rahane, THAT'S OUT!! Lbw!!

India review: Rahane has a long chat with Pujara and decides to review. It is for an LBW. Legal delivery. No bat as it missed it by a long way. This has to be missing for Rahane to survive. What does HawkEye suggest - clipping the leg-stump. Umpire's call. Rahane has to go.
