fan no 1 Posted January 23, 2008 Author Share Posted January 23, 2008 This is how the employer search engine works. when ever an employer has a requirement he will post that in one or all of the above sites.he will place a deadline againest it in many cases. once the deadline is passed .he will check the email ID posted on the above sites for resumes.If his mail box has less number of resumes then he will go thru each of them.If he got enormouns number of resumes then he will use search engines provided by the above sites .That search engine will go thru the metadata(Headings or subtitles) of the resumes and will short list the resumes which fit the requirements.Remember in most of the cases over qualified resumes are also not shortlisted because of these search engines.so In while posting the resume in one of the above list please make sure ur meta data is clear and fits the requirements.
