The above is true for Sanskrit. But telugu lo it is guna sandhi… అ + ఉ = ఓ. అ,ఆ లకు ఇ,ఈలు పరమైతే 'ఏ' కారం, ఉ, ఊలు పరమైతే ' ఓ ' కారం, ఋ,ౠలు పరమైతే ‘ అర్ ' ఏకాదేశమవుతాయి. per this telugu lo ఓo anavacha?? Another explanation from Sadhguru… ‘ఆమ్’ పలికే సరైన పద్ధతి ‘ఆమ్’ శబ్దాన్ని ‘ఓం’ అని పలుకకూడదు. దీన్ని ఎలా పలకాలంటే, నోరు తెరిచి - “ఆఁ” పలుకుతూ, ఆ తర్వాత మీరు నెమ్మదిగా నోరు మూస్తుంటే, అదే “ఊఁ” గా మారుతుంది, ఆ తర్వాత “మా” అవుతుంది. ఇది సహజంగా జరుగుతుంది, ఇది మీరు కావాలని చేసేది కాదు. మీరు నోరు తెరిచి (నోటిద్వారా) శ్వాస విడిస్తే, అది “ఆఁ” అవుతుంది. మీరు నోరు మూస్తుంటే, నెమ్మదిగా అది “ఊఁ” గా మారుతుంది, తర్వాత నోరు మూస్తే “మ్” గా మారుతుంది. “ఆ”, “ఊ”, “మ్” అనేవి ఉనికిలోని ప్రాథమిక శబ్దాలు. ఈ మూడు శబ్దాలను కలిపి పలికితే “ఆఁమ్” వస్తుంది. “ఆఁమ్” అనేది చాలా ప్రాథమికమైన మంత్రం. కాబట్టి, మహా మంత్రాన్ని “ఓం నమః శివాయ” అని కాకుండా “ఆమ్ నమః శివాయ”గా ఉచ్ఛరించాలి.
