Depends on the gear.. hdmi supports most higher end audio formats.. if no provision for hdmi then next option would be optical cable (this does not support high end formats like dolby truehd or dts hd master) So simply put.. yes go for hdmi.. it can also be used for video transmission as well at the same time.. The next best possible audio codec is dts version. But streaming lo adi avadu. Anduke higher nitrates ivali.
