AP lo pillalu Telugu ane padame namoshi gaa behave chesthunnaru ... :wall:

LATAM/EU countries have their education and do business in their local languages. Even developed Asia countries like JP, TW, KR do their education/business in their local languages. But for some strange reason... English became the primary language for education in India. this might because the leaders after Independence agreed to English in the view that no other Indian language gets the preference and become dominant. manaki emi lekapoyina jealously/pakkanodu baagupadakudadhu anedhi by birth vastundhi kadha. Don't think this can be changed now. The only thing we can do is talk to children in telugu everyday and from Govt side ensure telugu is thought in the class atleast upto 7th std.

Introduction of the English language is fine and encouraging thought.. but the thought of removing the Telugu language completely is as ridiculous as NOT introducing the English language.

Learning a new language should not come at the expense of killing other language and in this case here one's own language.

Telugu state schools annitilonu mandatory first language. Ee cbsc, icsc schools lo optional anukuntaa. Telugu thappakundaa nerchukovaali, maatladaali, raayaali, chadavaali mana pillalu. It is their mother tongue. Konthamandi french, greek, latin, mandarin anni nerchukuntunnaru Telugu thappa. Adi badhakaram.

To keep it simple there are only two options bro.. 1. teach in Telugu medium with English as one subject 2. Teach in english medium with telugu as one subject.

If people have to chose, a vast majority will chose the second. That is what state govt is doing. don't know where the issue is then?

2nd one is the best one .. add to that govt should make it mandatory irrespective of the type of school or syllabus ...
