Husker Posted December 22, 2017 Share Posted December 22, 2017 Tiger Zinda Hai is heading for a non holiday opening day record for the Hindi film industry not including Bahubali - The Conclusion which came from the Telegu film industry. The opening looks set to finish a huge 35 crore nett as per early estimates with collections outside metros being extraordinary considering it is not a holiday. Dhoom 3 holds the record at the moment for the highest non holiday record at 32.48 crore nett and it looks to be beaten by around 10% though the GROSS figures between Dhoom 3 and Tiger Zinda Hai will be similar. Dangal last year grossed 29.16 crore nett which was also a non holiday release. If we look at the highest opening days of all time then it is going to stand in fifth position and Salman Khan will have three of the top five opening days in history. It becomes three out of four if we take Bahubali - The Conclusion out of the equation. Now it is going to be about what happens on day two and the film has good potential to improve in the multiplexes of big cities but in mass areas its going to be hard to hold at these levels on the second day. The Friday morning opening show at single screens is near impossible to be repeated on Saturday morning. It will probably be a tug of war with half collections going down and half going up and if the going up side can go up a better margin then this film will really be setting itself up for a huge run.
