It is a patchwork of many scenes shot with movie camera and TV camera. The visual quality is very poor. Even the story line is erratic. The film at one time moves like a youth film with love stories and at another it moves like a political drama. The only character that links all these scenes is that of Bharati, played by Lakshmi Parvati. She appears in the role of a woman leader and then comes into the scene whenever a problem is reported to her. The lack of connectivity between scenes renders the film incomprehensible except that the whole exercise is in the direction of resurrecting the image of TDP's founder and former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao. There is a dialogue towards the end that sounds to some people that the film is using his name. Images of NTR's death and his last journey are also added to this drama. Though the very purpose of making this film is to make some political comments against those who ditched NTR, the film moves simply as an ordinary formula film, depicting a fight between politicians and people. The politician's roles are played by Gokina Rama Rao and Narra Venkateswara Rao. Both are exploiters against whom factory labor leader Bharat and a student leader Adarsh rise in revolt. In the later role Lakshmi Parvathi's son Koteswara Prasad is presented. Anna Sainyam here means not Naxalites, but people faithful to NTR. Characters come and go punctuated by the visits of Bharati (Lakshmi Parvati), as savior of people, promising every time she appears that she will stand behind them. She wants to establish 'Anna Rajyam'. Anna means NTR. The irrelevant story line and dialogue reduce the film to a college level drama of cheap scenes, marked by scenes of ragging, idiotic behavior in the name of fun and suspensions. Delhi Galli is the name given to Gokina Rama Rao, playing minister and owner of a factory. Narra is Chari, a like-minded friend of Gokina. The joke of it is Iron Leg Sastry plays minister's advisor, who whispers ideas into his ears. The burning issue between factory management and workers is, as usual, a bonus. Their leader Bharat is arrested. Vinod has a brief role of leader of Lok Seva like ‘Lok Satta’. He gets Bharat released. There are college love stories, like that of Adarsh and another girl. Sudhakar and Ramya Sri are paired as a comical combination. There is a plan to kill Bharati, that Chari (Narra) masterminds. The accompanying song as the body of NTR was being taken is well rendered by Balu. It runs as 'Yadunnavanna.. Ramanna.' with inter-cuts of live scenes of NTR. Thus the film drags like tableaux of events. This is the only sequence that moves us because it is real. None of the artistes except those two veterans – Gokina and Narra, display histrionic skills. The film does greater harm to the image of NTR, than help, because of lack of proper direction to the theme.
