The Producers arranged an immediate Good quality Print after the Board rejected to issue certifiate even last night. The film was then cleared with U/A with few minor cuts. The film is a bit lengthy at around 2.40Hrs. Censor Buzz : Dookudu is a family entertainer with some action angle. The film revolves around the father son duo of Mahesh & Prakash Raj. 1st half will be full of action elements and is ‘some how’ adequate. The 2nd half of the movie deals with the family part of the subject and is reportedly didn’t came out as expected. The movie turns tad boring until the climax and even Mahesh’s characterisation is rather strange. Overall the film is an average fare like Srinu Vaitla’s last, Namo Venkatesa. Trade: Dookudu is made on a big budget of more than 35 Crores and some huge money is being spent on the publicity. The film will have a big release in the state and worldwide with more than 650 screens on rough estimates. The Dussera holiday season and 2 Weeks gap with other Big Release in Oosaravelli should help the film to collect decent numbers at the boxoffice even with average stuff. But will that be enough is a big question and that can only be answered after the Festive season is over. We are expecting the film to collect more than all 3 last Mahesh Starrers after Pokiri happened. Ofcourse, A lot will depend on the fate of Oosaravelli too.
