Hello @Npower brother, I have a few Muslim friends. I never raised any of these topics with them since these are sensitive. I always had in mind as to what is the thought process of normal Muslims. This thread from you has answered some of my questions and has given me hope. Thank you.
Hello @Npower brother, I have a few Muslim friends. I never raised any of these topics with them since these are sensitive. I always had in mind as to what is the thought process of normal Muslims. This thread from you has answered some of my questions and has given me hope. Thank you.
FIRST OF ALL A SINCERE APOLOGY ON BEHALF OF US ORDINARY INDIAN MUSLIMS FOR THE SHAMEFUL ACT DONE BY THE BARBARIC PAKISTANIS AND THEIR DISCIPLES IN THE NAME OF OUR RELIGION.
Since the Pahalgam incident, my mind has been consumed by it. Life continues to throw challenges, sorrows, and ofcourse slightest of happiness too, regardless of what’s happening in my heart. No matter what, life keeps moving, relentless in its pace. Despite my efforts to engage in discussions, I couldn't, because my heart was heavy, burdened by the incident and the way it unfolded.
Now, I’ve found a moment to reflect and speak from the heart.
To my Hindu brothers and sisters:
Please, never believe that an ordinary Indian Muslim supports or justifies the actions of terrorists. Yes, there may be a few misguided rogues, express support for these criminals, but they represent only a tiny fraction. I do not deny this, but it’s important to understand that the vast majority of Indian Muslims hate terrorism as you do.
Our community is suffering from Modi-phobia and BJP-phobia. This has led many Muslims to oppose policies—even those that could benefit them—just because they are associated with the current government. For instance, I personally support the Triple Talaq law and the removal of Article 370, even though I don’t agree with everything Modi does and am not a fan of him. Unfortunately, many Muslims are unable to separate their opposition to rationalise the issues and differentiate from Modi Hate, leading to a negative perception of the entire community.
Yes, the anger directed at Muslims is understandable, but it's often misdirected. While a small number of individuals might be spreading objectionable content just because they hate Modi and cannot go beyond that hate, the vast majority of Muslims are merely quietly resentful, not violent or supportive of terrorism. Yet, this vocal minority is unfairly portrayed as the face of the entire community.
I understand your pain and anger. I, too, have a family. I, too, feel the pain of what the victims might have gone through. But please understand that the ordinary Muslim—just like you—wants nothing more than to protect their family and create a better life for their children.
I am writing this because I see many threads filled with hatred toward people like me—ordinary Indian Muslims, who are simply trying to live their lives and make ends meet. We are not responsible for the actions of terrorists. It breaks my heart when I hear people say that our community should be wiped out. I, too, have loved ones in this community—my brother, who has been battling illness for years. The innocent majority of Muslims have nothing to do with these crimes, and we do not deserve such hatred.
Please, I ask you to temper your anger. I reassure you, the majority of Indian Muslims, whether anti-Modi or not, are united in calling for an all-out war on Pakistan to end the cross-border terrorism that affects us all. We are all fighting for the safety and well-being of our families.
Yes, there are a few who give shelter to terrorists in Kashmir. This has been an issue for decades, but it is unfair to label all Indian Muslims as supporters of terrorism because of it. Such sweeping generalizations only fuel division.
My humble request to my Hindu brothers: Please, reduce the anger directed at ordinary Muslims due to the actions of a few Pakistanis & Kashmiris who are already branded as trouble makers. We are all fighting to protect our families and provide a better life for our children. The terrorists are fighting for a different kind of "heaven," one that is preached by twisted barbaric Mullas.
Let’s focus on unity, understanding, and creating a future where our families can thrive in peace, regardless of our religious differences.
May peace be upon us all.
Is Qatar a Key player in ME Umma intra politics or a rabble rouser trying to position against Big Kaffiyehs !
Namaste to all brothers here.
As you rightly pointed R bro, as this H - I issue heated up, Q definitely wants to bake a few breads on that oven, why not score some 'umma' points, which go along with the line of ideology of M Brotherhood. But there is bit more, and lets add some meat to that.
As ardent news gobblers aware - Q is actively shouldering the radical Islamist causes for sometime, financing, aiding extremist elements around the world- softly under the radar; Annoying many in the West too, also not particularly in sync with the other neighbors and dominant players in ME. They want to punch above their weight and size.
Naturally they would have problems with Bharat, added a bit more spice because they cannot stomach emerging stature and assertiveness of B. Leave aside inviting fugitive T instigator J Naik, over actively spreading & misrepresenting the entirety & context of N's comments from the inscribed literature, also looking eagerly for opportunities to create anti-I narratives whenever possible, funding & encouraging anti-India elements in H film industry, JK issue-poking to name a few.
Also, they are not happy, because Afgh. is dealing directly with India without their brokerage, in their mind they lost their perceived weightage in ME affairs. Even US gave that brokerage/facilitator role to Q in dealing with Taliban, how dare India ! Another key thing is their rivalry with UAE (as you know UAE is progressive in ME and Qatar supports 'M Brotherhood' - so politics go along with that grain); Mind you, UAE is the biggest supporter of Bharat in ME.
As far as Bharat is concerned, don't expect a kneejerk reaction; It will consider meticulously all its options & use its leverage and power too in right doses, will leave no stone unturned dealing this tantrum. It might be a bit tough task to bet against Indian diplomacy in contemporary world affairs.
Also, clouds are gathering against their hyperactive involvement in extremist causes around the world, countries are keeping receipts. Did it reach Critical Mass for an explicit action to trim and curb the exuberance - We do not know yet. This H-I flareup complicates that picture a bit though in short term. Apart from being anomaly, is Qatar a key player among ME big shots who are currently trying to shed their fundamentalist image or just a rabble rouser too consumed in regressive ideology - Time will tell in near future.
Shubham to all.
