I think Prakasam barrage canals discharge capacity(18000 cusecs) is more than Dowleswaram. In Godavari delta most of it is two wet crops+. where as in Krishna delta most of it is single paddy crop. so, they stagger the water supply among the canals. west krishna delta (Guntur dt) gets water usually 2-3 weeks late, by then heavy demand for water from krishna east delta will be done.

no, 16000 is at beginning. canal gets narrower as it approaches Krishna. at Krishna river, its full capacity is 11500. I am not talking about pattiseema lift at all.

even after polavaram ready, these numbers are not adding up. polavaram right canal capacity at sangamam is 11500 (according to above articles). andulo 7000 NS right canal loki lift cheste, migiledi 4500 ye ga. how would that be sufficient for Krishna delta? some water can be diverted from polavaram right canal directly in to Eluru canal. still, 4500 is not enough for rest of the delta

ohh ada. usually traffic won't be symmetric in busy hours. for e.g in the morning there will be more traffic from Vijayawada to capital. So that time there will be two BRTS lanes in that direction. again in the evening capital to vijayawada will have two BRTS lanes. This is quite normal on busy bridges connecting big city to suburbs.
