ravindras
https://www.livelaw.in/top-stories/supreme-court-restores-limitation-extension-period-from-15032020-till-28022022-excluded-from-limitation-189193 Supreme court excluded duration from 15/3/2020 to 28/2/2022 from limitation law due to COVID. I am facing difficulty in interpreting point 3. If the limitation expired between 15/3/2020 and 28/2/2022 what could be extended limit? 90 days from March 1st or longer . Example if the limitation expiry date as per document is 31/December/2021 what could be limitation expiry date after extension 31/may/2022 or 15/December/2023

Raghu NTR
/////2. Consequently, the balance period of limitation remaining as on 03.10.2021, if any, shall become available with effect from 01.03.2022.///// This point 2 is crucial too. Need to read point 3 in the backdrop of point 2. పేరుకి "15 march 2020 to 28 February 2022" ఒక block లాగా consider చేస్తున్నా, latest notification "03 October 2021 to 28 February 2022" సంభందించింది మాత్రమే. Rest of past time phase related to previous such notifications.
